Remarks :
The admission process at GALGOTIAS university was cumbersome in some instances but overall I had a good experience with the admission committee. The admission process begins with a group discussion and then ends with a personal interview. Your clat score also matters in admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I had a keen interest in constitutional law which I studied in my LLB and to pursue that I opted for specialisation in constitution law in my LLM curriculum. The best thing about this college is faculty student ratio which is 1:24.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provided me with the opportunity to intern at Ashok and associated where I was senior intern, my job was to make brief notes of the case and draft petition. I also interned at Khaitan and co.
Placement Experience :
The students start getting place from their final semester and this year the higher package was offered by smith and co. of around 25 lakhs and the average package range around 15 lakhs which is pretty good. The placement percentage was around 92.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees hike policy in this college is 8 percent and the college provides a scholarship named Netaji Subhash scholarship for needy students who performs very well in academics. The college also provides internship opportunities at a very good place with some stipend.
Campus Life :
The college life here is very good and coming to the infrastructure I can bet you will not find better infrastructure in any college as compared to GALGOTIAS. The college has a very well maintained sports ground for football and cricket. College also conducts one sports hub fest in the month of December.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities included ac, mess, indoor sports such as carrom, table tennis, play station etc, The location of the hostel is although not so good. The registration process is quite simple and the same goes with affordability.
Interview Experience :
The question in group discussion was How article 44 which is a uniform civil code can be achieved in India and in a personal interviews they would ask questions related to the course you are specialising in. Questions were pretty easy though.
