Entrance Preview :

Got admission through COMEDK and I chose BMSCE because I had heard a lot about the college from various people plus they have an amazing campus and a no of students clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very interesting as the first year in engineering we study a more than ten plus subjects which fall under various branches like computer Sci, electronics, biotechnology etc. The subjects in the first year of engineering are like a further extension of the curriculum which we study in 12th grade and one can easily do well in the exams.

College Events :

The technical fest of our college is called phase shift where each of the departments set stalls and provide information regarding the models and projects that they have taken up and conduct various events where students from other colleges can participate . The cultural fest of our college is called utsav and it is one of the best college fests in Bengaluru.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am not eligible to answer this question since I have not making use of any scholarship facilities but one can find out about the scholarship facilities by enquiring in their respective departments.

Hostel Facilities :

College hostels are maintained very well and there is an international hostel as well where students get a spacious and more furnished rooms than the normal hostel rooms but one would need to shell out more to avail this facility. PG facilities around the college is quite high and one can find a decent PG for a reasonable price.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Faculty :

The faculty in our college are very much qualified and interested in instilling knowledge about the subject in the students and each of faculty have M.tech and PhD degrees in the respective fields. So they're full of knowledge, standard of teaching is very high since the teachers take utmost care that the students understand the topics well and will help the students out if they miss classes.

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university.
