Remarks :

I applied for Dayanand Sagar university there was no quota for admissions. admission goes like this there will be a separate cabin to get pay fee and there is a bank nearby so withdrawing is also easy. fee can be paid by cheque, cash or dd. eligibility criteria: students should acquire 85% in their pre university studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in accounting and finance so I chose BCom. Faculties are pretty good and specialise in their own streams. one drawback is there will be more than 40 students per class. There will be 1 internal and 1 cbt exam. The lot and lots of assignments, seminar presentations and lastly semester end exams.

Internships Opportunities :

This is a big drawback at Dayanand Sagar university. there are only a few internship opportunities available or rather no opportunities given by them. they will ask us to search for 1 within a month and should publish a book related to it. There will be viva and exams on the same as well. but these all will be on students.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible from the 6th semester for the placements. I have no idea about the companies visited due to the pandemic. The average pay is around 400000 per annum. Those students who score more than 75% will be eligible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As of the fee, I must say that Dayanand Sagar University is charging very high. we must pay 130000 per year and it is not worth the money. we will be having 5 classes per day for 1 hour each and most of the time will be us completing assignments, presenting, internals, exams. so I guess charging 130000 is not worth as of my knowledge there are no scholarships given.

Campus Life :

Due to this pandemic, we did not have any fest, sports activities or cultural activity. The library is vast and it contains a variety of books which will not only improve our knowledge but also guide us with the assignments. The classrooms are very good and the atmosphere is also too good.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is kind of good with 2 persons in each room. It will be helpful for those who get in from other states. food facilities are also good with a good amount of varieties. but 1 drawback is the fee for it. They charge 120000 per year which is almost 3/4th of the academic fee.

There are different faculty members for teaching BCom and ca Bcom class are usually in the morning time Whereas CA class will be there after Bcom classes ( afternoon to evening ) Bcom exams are bit easy when you compare with CA You need at least one month of proper time and hard work to pass the CA Foundation course

Placement Experience:

For the day college, there are placements. Every year a lot of start-up companies or small scale companies come for campus interview. A lot of students are selected. But the package is around 1.8 - 2 lacs per year. For evening college I don't they have campus placements. We have to look for jobs ourselves. I plan on doing internships and learn after my graduation.
