Remarks :

As DU's DUET used to happen very later in year so i got extra time to prepare well. Eligibility criteria for applying include min 60% in graduation or equivalent with 2 math subject. The exam contains 50 questions- Maths(30), aptitude(6), English(10) and C programming (4) Maths section has maxm questions and the question difficulty level is medium.The questions are of type that can consume time in solving but is solvable.Rest of the section is easy. After exam DU generate answer key and if you find the answer incorrect then you can claim. Then the cutoff is generated for the PI round(general subject questions). Weightage of interview is also valuable.. After all this round atleast 3 list is generated with saperate category reservation to take admission in the given time period followed by document verification.If using any quota reservation then you must have reservation documents like obc certificate for OBC quota.Apply as soon as possible for college hostels as it get full quickly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure is updated and include maxm details that make us ready for the industry. Faculties are good and make work on recent technologies as well. All teachers are Phd. Exams are conducted according to acamedic calendar that was issued when session begins on website. Passing is easy if you pay attention in class. 1:55 teacher ratio. It also provides exposure to various opportunities as well.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is mandatory for 6th semester and till then you can get an ample amount of opportunities in very good companies. Most of the companies come for software engineer profiles and some for analyst profiles. You can also get various profiles beyond that like e-learning platform selection from companies like geeks for geeks, coding ninja, etc. Amazon also visits the campus and gives the highest package. Various product-based and service-based companies visit thr campus and select a good number of students.

Placement Experience :

Last year of the college is when all placement procedure starts because mca have last semester (6th) is for internship. It is preferred to do an internship in the same company as job. You will get various opportunities for your selection in a very good company. Seniors also help you and guide you in your preparations. Approx every student get placed till end of the year. With more than good packages. My plan after getting a degree is to join the company in which i was placed during the placement processes.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A fee of this college is very low as compared to any other college of this course. Placement is also good and also get lot to learn here. Various scholarship opportunities are thereby the University at the university level.

Campus Life :

The social life here is very good. We also call our department, ducs family as we believe in studying together, may it be a senior or junior. The central library is there which includes a variety of books and also big space to study there as well. Various events are also organized in the campus like freshers, diwali night etc. We also organise our technical fest Sankalan every year that also in 2 ways, participation for our department and for all colleges of the city. Various extra co-curricular activities are also organised by the University and also various colleges of the university. You will get various opportunities for academic as well as co-curricular participation where you can showcase your skills.

Interview Experience :

The admission process includes the DUET exam. After the duet result, based on the cutoff, a list of students for PI is generated and called for PI at the department as per provided slots. PI includes general/basic subject-based questions like os, data structure, etc. that you would have studied in computer science subjects. PI also affects the ranking of students. After PI, the final result is declared of selected students. They have to visit the department for document verification followed by fee submission (on the same day) before the deadline. As per vacancy more lists are generated.

JNU for Overall development

Placement Experience:

Placements are average. Only 50% of students are placed yet. In the third semester, companies start visiting campus. Some of the companies are OPTUM, CIENA, XCALIBERATE, and KNOLDUS. The highest package is 14.5 LPA by Optum and the average is around 6-7 LPA. One can choose Ph.D. as an option if one didn't get placed.

Good Things: + Good Faculty + Good Labs + Good Placement Bad Things: - Uniform 4 days out of 6 - Saturday College is open - Tough Exams - So many assignments Overall, college will make you cry for 3 years if you are coming from DU or some other university, but definitely that is good for you/your future and you will get good placement/job.
