Read this before taking admission in bharati vidyapeeth medical college and hospital sangli

Remarks :

I have applied for all the medical colleges present on the site of MCC but according to my score, I got admission to Bharati Vidyapeeth medical college and hospital Sangli. No, I didn't avail any Quota as I belong to the Unreserved category. The process was very simple and straight forward I got my allotment letter from the MCC site and brought all the required documents. Did the paperwork and got the admission letter.

Course Curriculum Overview :

From the very beginning of my school days, I had a dream of becoming a doctor so I choose this course. In our college, they run a system known as a foster parent in which each teacher is given a group of students (6-7) and the respective teacher monitors all the activities of that group.so I can say that students teacher ratio is 7students:1 teacher. All the faculty are well qualified and provide quality teaching. The exam is taking place timely and it's a little bit tough to pass but if I study u can easily pass.

Internships Opportunities :

As our college makes us doctors we get a fair amount of money that's is around 80k(minimum) per month after we complete the degree we have many government job opportunities in public health care centres. And we don't get any stipend from our college in the 12 months of internship provided by the college in the hospital.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As our college is a deemed university the fees are hiked to the sky that is 1998150 per year and might be increased by 5 precent. And hostel fees are very sensible that is 85000 per year. No scholarship, financial assistance is provided by the management of college.

Campus Life :

There is only one annual fest and one hostel day they are mostly conducted depending upon the academic schedule of all the students in the month of February to May. We got a very good library will all the books available mostly the old edition are available not the new. Our classroom has a projector and Mike that's it. The college has only one ground in which we play football volleyball and cricket in short on specific ground for a specific sport. We don't have any social group in our college.

Hostel Facilities :

One bed one table one chair one cupboard and a twin sharing bathroom and a room. Meal quality is very poor and unhygienic every 2-3days some kind of insect or bugs is found in food. The registration process is simple paperwork and the hostel fees are affordable. I took a PG in vijaynagar which is just 500meters away.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted always to cure people. Also, I come from rural areas where there are very less doctors. So I want to change this situation and bring health facilities to my area. My college stands ranked 3 in Mumbai,it gave us experience and a practical approach, and last year we has an internship where we could improve

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is under Competency Based Medical Education it is with competencies in each subject and it helps very well to conquer at each and every subject. The practicals are also very well taught so that you can get hands on in every type of equipment and knowledge about all the things. Medical field in itself is very hard to chase but the difficulty level is quite impresssive in our curriculum it maintains the academic level of the college and University. The timing is also well matched keeping in mind with all the holidays and preparatory time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always was drifted towards medicine the thought of having a scalpel itself was so mesmerizing! There is one asst professor per 50 students And on the dissection table or in small groups, we have 1 teacher per 9-10 students The teachers are highly qualified some are from AFMC some from well-reputated colleges We have a lecture then practical followed by a small group discussion of that topic mostly in anatomy Exams are quite regularly held and are definitely not easy to pass! They follow the pattern of MUHS but as per info, it was more difficult than that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is experienced and the majority of the professors are good at teaching. The course curriculum is as what is specified by MCI. Regular classes. Disciplined study environment. They teach you what would be required for you to crack the NEET PG exam. I wish they would take up more research projects.
