Remarks :

I applied only to Jadavpur university and kgec . I was getting Ju Mech and Kgec Cse But I choose Ju Mech because of good placement opportunities and Great faculty and also Location is very good. There are no such criteria except written in Wbjee brochure and no age criteria. The admission was very smooth and seniors help you with that so no need to worry just contact any senior on fb, insta or LinkedIn.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Love automobiles. 10:1 and the professors are very good. 95% have PhD but Mtech Professors are more good and knowledgeable I think. 10 subjects in odd and 11 subjects in even semester including sessionals but you can manage and pass easily.

Class Size : 108Course Fees : INR 2760 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Microsoft, Amazon, wells Fargo, core companies like tata steel, Exon Mobil, Exide, texus Instruments came here for internships but they are less in numbers. You have to make projects to apply for internships and many also apply for internships in research institutes like cmeri and IIts.

Placement Experience :

in the 3rd year, you can apply for internships on campus and in the 4th year, you can seat for campus placements. A lot of good companies came to recruit both cores, noncore finance. the year avg package is 10.2 LPA so you can imagine that placement is good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

12000 rs for your entire BTech. no scholarship from college but the West Bengal govt gives you a scholarship if you are a domicile of West Bengal. campus jobs are available and you can get a job easily if you study well.

Campus Life :

there are two big feasts like srijan and Sanskriti and many tech fests are also there. many active clubs are there like science club, motorsports club, drama club, mountering club etc. there are central library and dept library available also. there is also a code club and sports are also good.

Hostel Facilities :

the hostel is very cheap just 25 rs per month but the quality is not that good but how can you expect much at this price right. pgs and mess and flat also available outside the campus. you have to fill a form and the fetsu authority will take an interview also.

Hostel Fee : INR 300 per year

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
