Remarks :

It was quite simple, I was assigned through the CAP process. I applied for many colleges with good Placements or government, but I got a college which is good when it comes to Reputation as well as Placements. The marks cutoff when I applied was 137 in MHTCET and for All India level, 102 in JEE-Mains. The further process was done via CAP counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was not sure, what to choose, so I chose the best among the option, faculty-student ratio might be 1:30. The qualification of the faculty was quite high like some were IIT professors, some were IIT Alumni, but teaching is an art and it is not taught in IIT, I'm quite sure now. The Exams are quite tough, but engineers figure out everything last night before the exam, so, crackable.

Class Size : 73Course Fees : INR 60414 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college faculty provide different companies with referral Internships to us, also the college committee and cell also offer a good amount of Internships, with no stipends obviously. A company like Litebird, Darkhorse, Scogo network provides Internships.

Placement Experience :

From 6th SEM, you are eligible for college Placements, but no such awareness is spread, so the one who is focused throughout is the one who gets through. The average package is around 6 LPA. The highest that I have seen is Quicksell i.e 18 LPA, and the lowest is yet to come. In the comps department, almost 100% of people are placed, except the ones who plan to study ahead. If I don't get placements, unfortunately, I'll apply for off-campus drives, and I think I have the caliber to break into one.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I haven't seen any fee hike in my semesters. Although the college comes under Mumbai university, you can apply for some state scholarships. I applied for EBC, and it benefitted me with a waiver of half my tuition fees. I also provide some Internal scholarships on the basis of merit reference to your financial background.

Campus Life :

There are many fests, but I'll be honest, the scale of participation is so low, that except the committee members no one knows when the event happened. Sports and Dance events are quite engaging and are most loved in the college. Classrooms are well equipped with AC, just for the FE's and that too for Comps department. There is nothing like extracurricular activities in my college.

Hostel Facilities :

I was to rent a PG, as college is only available for any 2 years of complete engineering and thereafter, find your own way, but this Pandemic happened and we all came home. The registration for the hostel is to be done 1 month before shifting, as there is quite a big waiting list in the end. Yes, it is kind of affordable as we save our time and travel cost as the mess is attached to the hostel.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ADMISSION IN YCCE?

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
