college offers a lot of opportunities but one has to keep an eye out for them

Remarks :

The admission process was straightforward and not difficult. Once the results of all the +2 classes were announced the online portal for applying to the college opens and students can start applying. Admission to the course shall be open only to candidates who have passed their +2 or its equivalent examination that is recognized by the college. On the basis of marks and different quotas, students were ranked and the students who got in were given a call from the college to confirm their admission and date to submit the documents and pay the course fee was communicated.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since the college is autonomous, the college itself sets its exams and hence they were conducted consistently. The difficulty of the exams depends on a lot of factors, for example, due to COVID19 students were unable to attend offline classes so the marking scheme for the exam was liberal.

Placement Experience :

The college is famous for its high placement offers and only third-year students are eligible for placement. Top companies like KPMG, Infosys, Wipro, and Tata are a few among the companies visited. St Teresa's has a higher percentage of placement of students compared with neighboring colleges and students are offered high pay. I wish to specialize in the finance field and hence want to work as a financial analyst for a year or two and then go for an MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Students who were admitted in the regular courses have a reasonable and low course fee compared to self-financing students who have to pay almost thrice the amount for the same course for no added benefits. in the case of the B.Com program, the fee for a regular student will be 8700 but for a self-financing student, it will be 19000-29000. As for scholarships, the college offers a number of them to meritorious students and students from reserved categories.

Campus Life :

The college has an outstanding reputation for social and cultural activities, being the overall champion in almost all the district and state-level competitions. The college union is efficient in conducting various fests and programs, a large variety of clubs and groups are present which varies from Commerce to fashion. There is a huge library, a gym, a cafeteria, a canteen, and two auditoriums

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm a 3rd year BCom Taxation student. I don't think that some subjects are relevant for the course. Some subjects are not required in the future. From 5th sem onwards there is an open Course subject which we have to learn and pass the exam. The open Course subject that I have received is not based on the marks that I received in my previous semester exam. And in have to go to the office to change the subject of my like later on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My dream is to become a accountant. So I choose this bcom with computer application course. The course structure was very nice and we can understand easily. In my opinion do more practicals . This course is therotically oriented which is not good when we go for a job. So it is better to give more practicals than theory sections. Main reason I hated the college was the exams. The college put the exam without any time gap which was very annoying

Placement Experience:

They are providing the best placements from other college. In the 2nd year of our course first they give training to us and then they give internship programms . And in the third year they make us ready for our placements. They provide best company placement to us. They are not looking our marks for selection but the attitude towards them.
