Remarks :

I applied for all Delhi University Colleges but I selected this because of its good academics records and it's highly reputed college. I had SC quota. The college had it's own cutoff which was merit-based. On the counseling day, we have to go with the required documents for the completion of the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Bcom Hons because it was the best as per my subjects in 12th class. The college is more known for its science faculties. Also, there are other faculties of commerce and arts too. The faculties are divided into different buildings. There are separate sections for different courses. Teachers are highly educated and qualified. The exams were one sessional and one semester and it wasn't much hard if you are active during lectures.

Class Size : 52Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are provided to students during the 1st and 2nd year too. 34 companies offered 255+ internships to the students for the posts of sales analyst, online marketing analyst, HR etc. The projects were related to market mania. The tasks were provided by companies like the promotion of their products or their companies on social medias.

Placement Experience :

From the second year, they get internships and in the last year the placement programs starts. The college offered 150 placements offers for the all courses. Like deloitte, KPMG, United Airlines, byju's . The highest offer was 15 lpa and lowest 5LPA. offering investment advisors, analyst jobs in commerce department. From our course 50% students got placed, some opted for higher education, some for other competitive exams. I've applied for mcom

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of our course is comparatively higher than the fees structure of other colleges under south campus of delhi University. As per my knowledge scholarships aren't so active. The students whose parents' income wasn't taxable were given concession in fees.

Campus Life :

The fest happens every year where we'll known celebrities were called. It happens in March or April every year. And many departmental fests used to happen during years. All the books were available under different sections department /subject wise. Smart classes were available in classrooms. Sports like football, cricket were active and extracurricular activities like dancing singing, painting, acting were done on the campus. All the groups available in the college were run by students only like NSS, be the change you want to see, we all are family.

The students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year and the companies that visit our campus are deloitte,kpmg india, kpmg global and pwc india, the highest package offered was 22.5lpa and the average package is 6lpa and around 85% students are usually getting placed, my plans after this degree is to pursue mba abroad

The reality of Choosing an Open Degree

Placement Experience:

From 3rd or 2nd year onwards maybe you'll be able to have do internships for placement opportunities. Like 40or 50% students gets placed .after getting this degree i may be going for IIM .So a course like bcom doesn't attract a high package.

The college is under Delhi University so if follows the DU admission process of filling up forms and declaring cut off lists. I filled up the form and waited for cut off lists declaration. I got my name listed in 3rd cut off list. Paid admission fees and got the admission.
