Remarks :
Management of our college is not very active when it comes to helping students. The Management of our college is very neutral. Not very good, not very bad
Entrance Preview :
There is a Common Entrance Test (CET) for IP University Colleges and colleges are provided on the basis of rank achieved by the student. The time i appeared for the CET there were around more than 60,000 students who were appearing for the entrance test for BBA itself. I Secured 968 rank all over Delhi ad outside Delhi. This College was and still is at the first position in IP university in BBA so i opted for this particular college. Also, this college was and still is famous for its academics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
"Being a professional course its primary concern in respect to the course is about management. If you're a commerce student subjects in the First two semester will be much relatable to you. In first semester there were 6 subjects, namely, Principles of Management which included basic management skills and theories given by various managers. Financial accounting related to accounts including company accounts and depreciation etc. There is an IT subject and DBMS in Seconds semester. In fourth semester there are subjects like Law which help be tter understanding of an organization at every level. Altogether this course offers and vast knowledge in the field of management"
Internships Opportunities :
Our College do has a placement cell which also provides internship but i haven't appeared for it yet. The students here have to do an internship in fifth semester or one should say after the external exams of fourth semester, the students have to do an internship and then present a STR(Summer Training Report) which is a subject in fifth semester. There are some offers of internship but not of the top notch companies
Placement Experience :
One of the main reasons i got into this college was its placement. This college comes on the 1st rank in IP University for its placement. Its average package is not less than 3 lakh and its highest package is around 9-10 lakhs. There goes a placement drive in our college when a lot of companies that has a tie-up with our college comes and picks students. Placement for BBA is around 90% which is very satisfactory.
College Events :
Unlike Du, there aren't much cultural events or fest that are celebrated grandly.Funds are limited when it comes to MSI Fests. There is a sports day which doesn't seems like a sports day. We have Avensis, Enva, Genesis which included performances by different societies of college and also some events or stalls for games or other activities. There is no star performance in our college, there are performances in the auditorium and our fest ends by around 4-5 PM. But, In terms of academics there are a lot of guest lectures from renowned professors and Educational idols.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees of the college is not very feasible. 75,000 is the fees per year. In first year 40,000 goes to university and 35,000 to the college. In the form of Demand Draft But, the educational services provided by the college in exchange of this fees makes it worthy.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are no such loan facilities that are provided officially by the college. One can apply for a loan and can easily attain it from any good bank because this is a renowned college. I myself applied for a education loan and there was no issues for it. Though i didn't used the loan because of some personal reasons. As for scholarships, no special scholarships are provided by the college. The scholarships are for only the SC's,ST's, OBC's that are said as by the Government of India. I haven't known of of any waiver of the fees
Campus Life :
Diversity as in our college is not much. Most of students are of Delhi itself. Though there are students from other states like Dehradun as well but most of the students are of Delhi. 2 of my classmates are from Nepal too. The Gender ratio in my class for say in 5:5 Campus is is not very happening. College is very strict in terms of attendance and 75% attendance is must for the college. If you're below 75% attendance you have to call your parents to college. So for campus life There isn't much freedom to roam around the college. There are teachers on duty always
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are small and dingy, there aren't much facilities in hostel. Hostel is not provided to the students who reside in the same state i.e Delhi. In winters the hostel is still bearable but in summers the hostel is not very fun. The mess although is average. There are different delicacies served on weekends and the food taste is also not bad. They charge around 60,000 for the hostel including the mess.
Alumni/Alumna :
Till now I haven't met any of the of the alumni and there are no such alumni meets. I don't have much information of our alumni network and aren't to help till date. Though I'veheard that some of the alumni's bring their companies to our college for placement.
Exam Structure :
The college follows Credit system in which each subjects carries credits and one has to gain some minimum credits to get the degree. Also, there were 3 exams, @ internals and one external Internals were of 25 marks and external of 75 marks. This year there was only one internal. Out of 100 total marks of each subject, 25 is in hands of the faculty o the respective teacher of that subject and the 75 depends on the external exam. Somewhat like CBSE boards
Faculty :
In context of faculty, our college is very diverse. There are teachers who are highly qualified but there are also teachers who don't know how to even address students. The staff of college is very careless when it comes to addressing problems of students. There are also a feedback form regarding the teachers which are filled by the students which consists of various points for judging the teachers. Although i haven't seen that very effective but i agree that there are few teachers that are more than just amazing. They help the students both at a personal level and at a academic level
