Remarks :

Good placement opportunities. You will get placed in a good company of you have decent grades.I got admission through CET.There is also management and comedk admissions. This college has best infrastructure with a good social life balancing academics cultural and sports activities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

College has best infrastructure and faculties. Good guidance from our placement officer to get placed in good companies.Information science was my passion. I was interested in coding and developing applications which is why I chose this course.Overall the curriculum matches the current requirements in companies which helps her a good job.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I got internship in cognizant with a stipend of 12k.I was working on a cloud project where I was trained on AWS. I was writing automation scripts using terraform python.Deployed 22 use cases and also won an award.

Placement Experience :

Placements are very good. 90% you will get placed in a good company. Minimum of 4.5 lakh package.Need to have minimum grade of 6.75 cgpa to attend placements.Overall placement guidance is very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Epass scholarship helps you get yearly ?â_20000.Very likely that you will get a good job.Overall you will need 4 lakh for the while course.If you have quota it can reduce upto 2 lakh.I got 2 jobs on campus tcs cognizant

Campus Life :

You have college fests, basketball court, good canteen facilities.There is a cricket team.Experienced coach for sports.Good exposure for cultural activities and sports.Other than this you have inter College hackathons

Admission :

Usually GD topics will be on current affairs, case studies.There will be 1 written test based on aptitude coding skills.Then technical interview which tests your technical knowledge.Finally communication skills.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Life in DSU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't choose this course for any specific reason. My brother is a doctor and he told me this is a nice field. So I was like why not. Each year is set specifically that one needs knowledge from the previous year to understand what's going on now. Exams are not very difficult as in if you have a basic idea from the beginning about what is going on, you can study in the end and pass easily. This is strictly my experience.
