Remarks :
After getting a JEXPO rank I applied for counseling and through counseling, I got to this college. I have chosen this college because it was near my hometown so I don't need to go to another place to study. I chose mechanical engineering in this college in counseling just because I love machines and mechanical testings of various materials. The only admission criteria are to hold a good rank in JEXPO and a minimum of 45% marks in class 10th or 12th exam. After getting all confirmation from Counseling I had to submit my all documents to the college on a particular date and on the same day we have to produce an indemnity bond and medical fitness certificate also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose mechanical engineering because I love machines and test various mechanical testings on materials. and the main reason is that mechanical engineering is the mother trade of various trades like automobile, metallurgy, production, power engineering, robotics, and after completing a Diploma in Mechanical I have a lot of choices in B-Tech. The Faculty was 10 and students are 30 in number so the student-teacher ratio was good. All the teachers are mostly M-Tech and some of them are Ph.D. holders and have relevant industry experience so they share their industry experience also. The semester exams are very hard and internals also. external examinations for labs are also there.
Placement Experience :
From the 5th sem completion, we have placement options. Companies like L&T offer 14000/month, Bajaj Motors offer 11000/month, Hitachi offers 12500/month, Advik Hi TechPvt Ltd offers 11000/month, and some other companies are also there. almost 22 candidates were hired by these companies. The companies offer the DET profile means Diploma Engineer Trainee Profile. I did not take the job opportunity because I am doing B-Tech in Metallurgy.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees were very nominal only 1300 Rs per year but bus service was not included in that. They don't pressurise the students to pay semester fees in advance. Still, they provide financial assistance and loan facilities, Kanyashree was also there. They provide us placements after our 5th sem exam.
Campus Life :
Life on campus was very enjoyable. They arrange cultural fest, tech fest, annual sports, teachers day, Vishwakarma puja, Saraswati puja, and many other social activities are also there. They provide us book bank facility, books are available for the whole sem, most of the important books are available and the stock of books are great. They provide digital journals and physical journals also. Classrooms are moderate because it is a very old college with no projector facility available for classrooms. There is no special community or clubs but a common room separate for boys and girls are there.
