Remarks :

I have not gone to the cet counseling program after cet I have just started searching my nearby colleges, my nearby college is hkbk so I have selected it. Good teaching staff, & placements friendly environment

Course Curriculum Overview :

I want to join in cse but cse seats were full so I have opted for ISE it is the same as CSE so I have opted it. good teaching staff & friendly with double degree & provides notes on a basis which is helpful for exams. Exams are conducted based on vtu curriculum, on a timely basis.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We have many internships from Infosys, Capgemini, and other well-known companies. Roles are freshers they help us complete our internship successfully without any hurdles. Very good friendly environment college.

Placement Experience :

7th sem students are eligible for campus placement, Many companies like pwc, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini many have visited. They are very got placements for this college. Above 75 or 80% Percentage students are eligible for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I have gone through the management quota so my yearly fees is 1.4lakh for ISE dept and for cet it's nearly 90k per year. I have not applied any scholarship or taken any financial assistance help.

Campus Life :

We have many clubs in our college and many events conducted by our college we have anti-ragging committee cell. We have events like treasure hunts, & webinars conducted by high officials with certificates

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
