Remarks :

The admissions for MSc(Data Analytics) programme takes place only once a year for June Trimester. It's a six trimester inter-disciplinary post-graduate degree programme conducted by the Department of Computer Science. For taking admission here, the minimum requirement is 50% in any undergraduate course followed by clearing the entrance test. Then the student secures a seat hereafter the verification of the necessary documents.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It's an in-demand and lucrative field that is very much in need in today's time. This programme aims to offer a thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of data analytics to become a leading practitioner in the field of data analytics. It's sort of business focussed and the teachers try their level best in imparting knowledge and solve all the issues of students and monitor them through regular formal and informal tests.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 74000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement cell of our college is proactive and every fortnight, some of the other company happens to visit and choose the most potential of students. Almost 85 percent of the total students do get placements. But as far as the course I have opted for is concerned, then students seek out employment opportunities right away and get hefty packages as well from prestigious renowned companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee is 1.62 lakhs for a professional course which is a great deal according to me. It's the best one can get for doing a prestigious course like data analytics. As far as scholarships go, I don't have any clue about it as I didn't avail it and have been part of the virtual batch so I don't have much knowledge about it but I guess the government schemes and scholarships would definitely apply here.

Campus Life :

The brochure shows an image of a very lovely and impressive social life with amazing campus life, fests etc. But since I'm a part of the virtual covid batch all I got was to participate in the various activities, seminars, quizzes etc that took place on the online platform. So hoping for a nice experience ahead when physical mode begins.

Pros and Cons of Jain University School of Sciences

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practicals were not well taught or prioritised. it is very important for us to learn and train in Psychometry but it wasn't seen to that that every student is aware of the psychological tools. Curriculum could be more vast and the students can be made to choose their specialisations based on their merits and strengths rather than a matter of choice alone

Placement Experience:

Placements are doen after semester two. Eli Lilly,Novartis,Strands Life Sciences hire candidates. Highest packages are 10 LPA above offered by TCS. I plan to take the placements as well. Almost 95% of the people are placed. The details are put up on the IBAB website

I chose this course because it particularly focuses on the clinical side of Psychology and I was always keen on learning about psychopathology. The exams are also very spread out making the students not stress about academics a lot. The practical exposure should be given and the assignments should include more research according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course because I had an AIM for that as my career. I wanted it to be my passion, source of income, etc. The faculty were all more than 5 years of experience and in my batch, 70 students were there. The best about the teaching is that they are so smoothly with the syllabus. The term tests were conducted based on the completion of 3 - 4 chapters. The level of difficulty was moderate also they used to guide where we had done a mistake. And overall teaching is good.
