Remarks :

Yes, I have applied for Anna University in Tamilnadu. I didn't get through it since my cutoff didn't meet the margin. Then, I attended the counselling process scheduled for me wherein I chose my college. My college has a very good infrastructure with all the amenities required for a student. The admission was a cool and calm process as the college is.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have a deep diving interest in interior designing and construction, so I chose civil engineering. The faculties are so student friendly that makes the learning process easier. The faculty ratio is about 1 teacher for every 40 students. The faculties are well equipped with the knowledge and are updated. There would be 3 internals in every alternative month for a semester. This actually enables the students to appear confidently for the semester exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Robert Bosch Envirocare etc. has offered interns to students with a stipend starting from 5000 rupees. This encourages the student to learn better and excel in their career. They were also included in the projects to gain knowledge more on the subject. The internships are made available from the 4th semester itself. This enables the students to go in the bar with the curriculum.

Placement Experience :

The student would be eligible from the end of 6 semesters. Morgan Stanley Amazon Flipkart Mu Accenture Wipro, Infosys, Robert Bosch etc. The highest package would be 12l per annum. Almost 90 percent of students get placed every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is about 1lakh rupees excluding the hostel fees. The college also gives a scholarship of Rs. 10000 every year for the top 10 merit students. The placements are very good that almost every other student would be placed. I got placed in Accenture.

Campus Life :

There is a mega event called YUGAM that happens every February. students come from all over India to participate. The campus is also vast and rich in its infrastructure. The library is premium that has a wide variety of books in all disciplines. The classroom and lab facilities are well equipped with the latest technologies. the sporting event is also one mega event that happens every year. The club activities are so active that there is a club for everything. There is nss rrc Rotaract yrc dance club music club etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel infrasturcture is also as good as campus. The room is for 4 which is spacious. The meal is average but there would be variety of food available. The registration process is easy and affordable.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
