Remarks :
My upsee rank was 3621 in the general quota. I easily got a civil branch in jss. Jss Noida is the best private college under AKTU. And third best college whether it is Government or private comes under AKTU.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this BTech from civil engineering. The total number of students in each year is about 150 which are divided into two sections. Approx 20 seats out of 150 are for lateral entry. Teachers in our department are Mostly South Indian. They are hard-working. Few difficulties are faced because of their accent.
Internships Opportunities :
College does not provide any internship opportunities. Students have to search for it on their own. Workshops conducted by various companies are introduced to us to participate. Projects are being given by the college and the teachers are really helpful.
Placement Experience :
Placement in civil engineering is very rare in every college of AKTU. On-campus placement is very rare, but many got off-campus placements. Around 4-5 companies come. College does not spend money on calling companies. In other branches placement record is good. From the last few years 1 or 2 students are getting the highest placement of around 40 lakhs otherwise av package is 4-4.5 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid :
First-year fees are around 145000 and later three years around 125000 per year. The top 3 higher scorers got rewards. Students above 8 SGPA and with no carryover papers are allowed to sit for placement. Placement in civil engineering is very rare as in other colleges.
Campus Life :
Zilicon is the techno-cultural fest to be held in the month of March. The library is very well established. One of the best libraries you will get to see in your life. Ac and non AC both types of classrooms are there. In the context of sports, separate areas are available for Cricket and football and a basketball court is also available. Indoor table tennis and badminton court are available in the multipurpose hall. Various societies are also there for fun and learning activities like Illuminati, verbs, etc.
