Remarks :

Before opting for this course, I had given several exams of a different field of study wherein I got selected for various colleges, but I genuinely wanted to do law and continue to work in this field only. And that is the reason why I did not attend those colleges. No, I have not applied for any quota for admission. When I applied, my college used to provide scholarships based on marks, also the course I applied to was well structured and I have had few seniors who told me about the vast learning opportunities here. Also, the work exposure is great. For my admission, I had given a written entrance exam and personal interview based on which, my application got selected.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as I have plans to work in a particular field and this course is best suited for me in my future endeavors. Before opting for my course, I had gone through all the information regarding the pros and cons, and how beneficial will this course be for me. We have a promising faculty staff ratio, and faculties are well qualified, the teaching method is such that it keeps each and every student in focus. We have interactive lectures rather than one-sided teaching methods. Our term exams have always been conducted on time and they are not very difficult that one cannot pass but they are not so easy as well. So you need to be really studying hard, keeping your concepts clear and a great sense of interpretation always helps.

Internships Opportunities :

I have got a chance to work with a few government organizations through my college. I did a volunteering internship under DCPCR, wherein I needed to conduct workshops for students single-handedly, visit places and interact with children of primary classes. It was a successful project and we were appreciated for our work within the campus as well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Considering the fee structure, it is a little expensive as there is a considerable amount of increase in both academic and hostel fees every year. The cost to study is certainly very high. Yes, there is a merit-based scholarship available for students which is a kind of fee waiver with terms and conditions. There is no other such financial assistance provided. Maybe for other courses, there are campus recruitment opportunities available but not in my course. There is a good exposure to eminent persons who have been great in their respective fields of work related to law.

Campus Life :

The campus life is very safe and comfortable. We have several fests, events every now and then. Amifest is the biggest event conducted for few days which includes DJ nights, various activities and games throughout the day, and fun activities in solo and grouped tasks. Apart from it, our major sports event is Sangathan in which bother inter and intra college participation is done and students put their sweat and blood to play and win the sports. We have spacious and air-conditioned classrooms. We have a central library loaded with so many beneficial books. In the law department, we have our own library which contains various documents, journals, case dilutes, etc. Basically, it has all that is required for a student. Plus we have computer systems on which we can easily conduct our research. We are provided free access to multiple law websites. Many clubs are there led by students, we have our own Law Wale group in which we not only do curricular activities but organize various academic events.

Hostel Facilities :

We are accommodated in a hostel on double occupancy basis. The room consists bed, study table, chair, and an almirah for each. There are a set of three rooms in a suite with one shared common area. For meals, we have 6 canteens including 1 mobile van. A student may go to any food point to have a meal. If one wants to have a monthly subscription, it is also available at hostel mess. Apart from this, we have a departmental store and a cafe coffee day within the campus. Hostel registrations are done through our university's portal amizone, which every student gets access to after getting enrolled in their respective courses. We have free wi-fi overall campus. I have not rented any pg or room, but my friends told me that the locality is very supportive and it is comfortable and safe to live there as well.

Interview Experience :

I have not faced any group discussion. I was asked to appear for my written exam and interview, which were held on the same day. My application was selected and I went for the next process. My written exam was a multiple choice question-based paper along with situation-based questions. In my interview, I was asked basic questions like introduction, hobbies, etc. Also, there were few questions to check the legal aptitude and knowledge about the subject matter.

Admission:

I just gave the entrance test and waited for the results. Once the results were out we had to go to MDU Rohtak to deposit the fees after that only our seat will be confirmed. It was a bit time consuming going all the way to Rohtak and there also it took around 2-3 hours to get the work done.

Positive- The cleanest University you could ever find. Negative- Parking is not free and is 200 meters away from the college. Discipline is the main goal of the University. Cleanliness is preferred from every student.
