Remarks :

I applied for the Punjab University earlier but due to the high fees expense there I didn't take admission there. I haven't availed any quota for taking admission here. For taking admission to TBS, one needs to be having a minimum of 50% marks in his/her graduation and need to go through the entrance test conducted by them every year known as "JUET".

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because during my college time MBA was in great demand and the person who has the MBA degree gets a good job in the MNC easily. There were 5 teachers over the 50 students. The faculty of TBS is really great and has many years of experience in the teaching field.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of the TBS is pretty affordable and reasonable and it only costs you 35000 per year. Yes, TBS also provides scholarship facilities to students who come from a poor backgrounds and reserved categories.

Campus Life :

Only annual days were used to celebrate on the university campus as these annual fests were not in a trend during my college time. There are numerous books and journals available in the library with the latest editions available in the university. There are all the required amenities available in the classrooms of the university. Inter-college sports competitions, NSS activities, NCC activities use to be conducted in the university. ABVP and NSUI are two social groups run by the students in the university.

Placement Experience:

As far as IPM is considered, there is no such record of placement for this course as of now. Although we will be taking placements along with the existing MBA core batch, hence, our packages will be somewhat similar to them only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is different. They are offering practical knowledge to the students and they will give notes and case studies. And each semester every paper we have to submit one assignment and presentation in every subject that is very helpful for the students to imptove the inner quality and extra knowledge

The placement cell and the committee has the responsibility for placements. And the 100% placements is there. This year the average package has gone around 16 lakhs. Min. was around 10 lakhs. Intership also got 100% placements. So placement records are good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant and has practical implications. I enjoy studying the diverse courses that are offered. Lots of cases are discussed and a lot of discussions are conducted. Exam frequency is okay considering we have only mid-term and end-term exams.

College provides 100% placements. The committee ensures that the students get placed in the best organizations with good package. We also have the option of outsourcing. However, with the record until now college placements have been good with the highest package being 65LPA.

Placement Experience:

Yes, they have the campus placements but as you know the competition is too high in the corporate world, you have to work really hard. If you want a job, do certification programs, gain experience and skills. Skills and experience are more important than the academics.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 2 semesters, we are eligible for on-campus placement and after the 2 sems, companies also start coming to smvdu . ICICI, SRIRAM, Berger, etc are the companies that come here. The highest package is 420000 and 320000 is the lowest package the companies provide here. 50-60% of students get placed and it totally depends upon the caliber of the students how they crack the interview. I want to work in an MBC and want to earn good money.

Admission:

The admission to the course is based on the exam called CUCET which is conducted by the college for masters courses. The admission process is online and students can swatch for the application forms there.

Placement Experience:

Companies like Wipro and Infotech are some of the few which visit the college and have a process of recruitment. In general, the college can improve in the area of placements since not many students are granted placements.
