Review- [TBS], Jammu

Remarks :

I did not apply for any other college as I got selected here on the very first attempt. I did not apply for any kind of quota. CAT/ MAT / CMAT scorecard is mandatory university also conducts its own entrance exam named juet. A minimum of 50% is required in the bachelors for further admission to the university.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the MBA program because I was passionate about working in the corporate sector. On average there are approximately 7 to 8 teachers and all of them are very experienced helpful and qualified. Exams are easy and conducted timely.

Internships Opportunities :

Axis, icici, hdfc are the companies that hire interns from the university. Almost all the students get selected for internships they get roles of business development associates hr associates and many more. Some of the internal get stipends also.

Placement Experience :

Yes, college provides placements many companies visit for campus placements. Approx 60 - 70%students get placed during campus placements. The average package of 4 to 6 lakh premium gets rewarded to selected candidates.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Talking about fee structure it is pretty gentle as it is neither too costly nor too cheap university charge very reasonable rates for the services they provide. There are some scholarships available like backward class and EWS.

Campus Life :

The campus is very beautiful and big fests cultural events sports activities are conducted every year but the campus was closed this year so nothing happened. A very beautiful library and well-equipped classrooms are available.

Interview Experience :

Yes, I attended the gd session and the group was asked to discuss the impact of modern machinery on unskilled labor. After GD/PI session was conducted where some basic questions were asked and the shortlisted candidates got an Invitation letter for admission.

Placement Experience:

As far as IPM is considered, there is no such record of placement for this course as of now. Although we will be taking placements along with the existing MBA core batch, hence, our packages will be somewhat similar to them only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is different. They are offering practical knowledge to the students and they will give notes and case studies. And each semester every paper we have to submit one assignment and presentation in every subject that is very helpful for the students to imptove the inner quality and extra knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant and has practical implications. I enjoy studying the diverse courses that are offered. Lots of cases are discussed and a lot of discussions are conducted. Exam frequency is okay considering we have only mid-term and end-term exams.

College provides 100% placements. The committee ensures that the students get placed in the best organizations with good package. We also have the option of outsourcing. However, with the record until now college placements have been good with the highest package being 65LPA.

Placement Experience:

Yes, they have the campus placements but as you know the competition is too high in the corporate world, you have to work really hard. If you want a job, do certification programs, gain experience and skills. Skills and experience are more important than the academics.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 2 semesters, we are eligible for on-campus placement and after the 2 sems, companies also start coming to smvdu . ICICI, SRIRAM, Berger, etc are the companies that come here. The highest package is 420000 and 320000 is the lowest package the companies provide here. 50-60% of students get placed and it totally depends upon the caliber of the students how they crack the interview. I want to work in an MBC and want to earn good money.

Admission:

The admission to the course is based on the exam called CUCET which is conducted by the college for masters courses. The admission process is online and students can swatch for the application forms there.

Placement Experience:

Companies like Wipro and Infotech are some of the few which visit the college and have a process of recruitment. In general, the college can improve in the area of placements since not many students are granted placements.
