Remarks :
I applied for KIIT and VIT but the fees were really high, that's why I took admission to centurion university of technology and management. I am studying B-tech CSE here. The fee for this course is 149000. But they offer discounts in fee payment based on 12th marks and percentage. I had to pay 98000 for 1st year. 26000 is extra for the hostel fee. they also offer scholarships based on performance every year .you have to secure about 80% or above to get the scholarship of 25 000 and also minimum of 75% of attendance is compulsory, for scholarship as well as for appearing in exams. we have to submit the mark sheets of 10th and 12th and adhar card copy, migration certificate as well as transfer certificate. this is totally private institute so no quota discount is available. No age limit is required, just you have to be the 12th pass-out student. Also, no exam is required for admission, you don't have to give any exam, just you can take admission directly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because there is a lot of opportunity in this field nowadays. The faculties are limited. But they are highly qualified and helpful. They help us explore this field properly. There are 2 semester exams and 2 internals and 2 external exams. The exams are easy, not that difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
I am still in 2nd year, so no placement experience. we get emails for placements of our seniors every day. But I think it's just showoff. the jobs are not so good neither the salary.
Placement Experience :
from 7th to 8th semester students are eligible. the placements are not so good. companies like TCS, and Accenture offers placements. About 40% of students get placements. The highest salary is about 8 lakh. I am planning to go to MTech in Bangalore.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fee is 125000 for academic and 23 000 for miscellaneous. you get a discount based on the 12th result. Also every year a scholarship is offered to those who secure more than 80% and have attendance m75% or above. you can also get a discount of up to 50% on your 10th and 12th results are good. but there is no quota for minorities or castes. 23000 miscellaneous fees are compulsory for all the students for this course.
Campus Life :
Gajajyoti is our annual fest but due to pandemics is was not held this year. only some sports events took place for the freshers in which seniors also participated. we have a library for issuing books that are required, Hostelers can go to the library in the evening hours also. But have to return to the hostel before 8 pm. There are different clubs like dance and music clubs. And mostly sports clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
we have 2 fans in our rooms. the mess food is also good. But sometimes we face problems regarding water. the wardens are really strict. we require permission for everything. 26000 is hostel fees. we have common washrooms. they are cleaned daily.
