Remarks :
I had applied for a BSc course at Sophia College Mumbai. It was in the 2019 year, I had filled admission form online on their portal. I had applied for an additional university besides this that was Wilson's College but didn't get the Subject I needed so I proceed with Sophia College. There were distinct days for payment of fees, merit lists, etc. Be attentive to the dates don't miss them. After the payments of fees, There was a conference for newcomers and counseling with college visits. where facilities introduced us to every niche of their college, and now am well familiar with it. The seminar was all about introducing us to their rules and credit points as well as all the opportunities the college give The counselling session was one of the refreshing sessions it just summoned courage in me to kickstart my new college life. Until covid hit. Even though I couldn't travel to college, they have taken full vigilance in teaching various platforms and I feel very grateful for it
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to pursue in Perfumery as in I wanted to do BSc Chemistry. Also, I had noticed that this College provides a lot of several opportunities for girls to participate and evolve as it is just a girls College. So any girls willing to opt for this college must. The faculty members are just so engaging and enthusiastic. They are Dr, PhD, MSC, and even worked in Tata company, etc. Since it is the only girl's College in my batch I had only a total of 100 girls for Bsc overall. Even though covid has hit they have been proper exams on time as it uses to be before covid.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internships or very few like 100 in one those who are well-talented gets. There are no such internships. There is a lot of online courses on the portal named " Swayam " there is a lot of scopes here to get a certificate and learn anytime and anywhere.
Placement Experience :
There are very few or no placements. But the teachers refer with other companies, of course, if you are good and talented you would not lack. But it provides one with all knowledge needed after you grad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees structure - FYBSc - 7500 apx SYBSc 8000 apx TYBsc 8500 apx The above fees adhere to around 7000 to 8000 but I am not sure this is just a round figure. Not the exact amount. Those with financial difficulties need to talk with HOD will grant with help and aid. This college provides with numerous training and courses online.
Campus Life :
The social life on campus is very lively and fascinating must say. Kaleidoscope is one of the biggest and inter-collegiate fests of the year wherein various celebrities come to see this fest , sponsors as well as alot of competitive spirits you will see her. Apart from this, the library consists of various books and novels that must be read also all the old question papers for those who have KTs.The classrooms are well spaced and big. There are sports club , munsopical club , gym , NSS unit , prism which is for those who love to dance and sing etc . There are credit courses EEC , social credit and skills based credit you need atleast one from each to get credit and due points . This will help you to uplift your resume
