Remarks :
1) Delhi University: B.Sc. course, did not attend because of lack of placement. 2) No quota 3) Direct admission for Btech course for students having a percentage greater than 80%. No age bar 4) Admission process was smooth and counselling was conducted for 3 days where ice breaker sessions were conducted and I got to know about my classmates and interacted with them on the first day itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
1) Selected this so that I could get placed at the end of my 4 year program Btech. 2) Plenty of faculty for students. During practicals, the class is divided into 2 sections and plenty of apparatus is available for all students. 3) Mostly PhD and Postgrad teachers. 4) Very timely and exams were up to the standards.
Internships Opportunities :
1) many internship opportunities are available with the help of faculty, mostly off-campus internships are offered to students based on their marks. 2) First Indian university to become IET academic partner and its Btech programme has been certified 'A' category by NAAC.
Placement Experience :
1) 7th semester is the placement semester. 2) Accenture, CapGemini, Infosys, Nagarro, Cisco, ZS Associates, Cognizant. 3) 8 lpa in my knowledge. 4) 65% of students get places in CSE and IT. 5) Currently working in a full time role.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1) Nearly a 10k fee hike per year. 2) Scholarship provided to students in the top 5% of the class, 100% of the fee is waived. If a person is in the top 10% then 50% of the tuition fees is waived off. Financial assistance/loan programme available.
Campus Life :
1) Amity Youth Fest 2) Good availability of books and reference material in the library. 3) Good infra and classrooms had comfortable seating. 4) many sports are played on campus with a sports month dedicated every year. Different institutes compete, and then total medals and points are added up and institutes are given rank. 6) Jax foundation, Zest, Fashion society.
