Remarks :

I get a chance to admission to Sambalpur but didn't go, then my friend refers me to this college and got direct admission. They didn't ask for my jee main score or their entrance exam score. They simply ask me for 12th and 10th scores and got admission to this college. The admission process is so easy if you scored good marks in 10th and 12th then they are more interested to get you admission. If you are less score in 12th then they will hesitate to admission but in last they easily admit to their college. They will ask you for an exam fee every year which are not mentioned in their fee structure. They will charge you 4k for every year whether your exam is conducted offline or online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are good but faculties are some are good and some were bad. They just do their work for money. And this college charges you 1500 + GST for backlog exams and sometimes they increase the price also.

Placement Experience :

They give less placement which is on campus are few you can say less than 5 to 6 company and they provide you off campus hiring process and that link forward you to your university mail id and then they say we provide 100% placement and advertising in name of some big companies like Google Microsoft.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure is good and they also provide scholarships for some of them. And they charge 4k as the name of the exam fee every year. Whether your exam is conducted offline or online they will charge. But It will not mention in their fees structure. This is the hidden charge they do to their students.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is conducted in February and March. The library is also there but not so big and all the classrooms are not smart. Just 5 to 6 classrooms are smart classrooms and all there are green boards and some of their whiteboard and they didn't provide ac class room but in the computer lab, they provide ac. The social group are there but less amount of students and that was so boring. In sports, the cricket field is there but they didn't train you and if they train you or you want to play then it will helpful for hostelers because they do play after 5 pm which is not a suitable time for train students.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
