Remarks :
I have applied for Manipal University however I have realized that it was Very Expensive and also University was not having NACC accreditation, However, both the requirements were fulfilled in SGVU. I Have Availed SC Quota for admission. As per the criteria SGVU required 60% in 12th. The admission process was very smooth and the staff were so helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course pattern was very dynamic, As it was 4 year program in which each student is getting specialization under the area of interest which helps in job placement. Hence I have chosen this course. As Per faculty: Student , it is 1:15. All Faculty are Post Graduates and above. Also as per the teaching method, we have received wonderful classroom sessions and as well as having good quality E content. The examination is always happening on time and those who all are regular can easily clear the examination as the pattern and method of teaching are very smooth and understandable.
Internships Opportunities :
University is very much concerned about the Internship, so from the very first day they are providing the industrial Mentor which is a great concept and also due to this students can be aware of the trends of the industry which helps them to get the Internship. My Internship at College has provided me with the best hotel in this industry which was Marriot. Wonderful session completed successfully. Where I have worked with all the respective departments (Front Office, F&B Service, F &B Production ETC).
Placement Experience :
Student Will be Eligible for Campus Placement after the 7th Semester. As I m not eligible to write now, however, my seniors got the placement all over the globe. Few of our working with Taj Hotels and Group, Oberios, Luxury Cruise.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In Suresh Gyan Vihar University Students Receiving full support from the management side in terms of fees as they have lots of policies like scholarships, Different Quotas like sports, Caste etc. Also, SGVU is a university that is always looking for student benefits starting from admission till the course completion. Also, the faculty are helping in all the manners for Placement as they have links in the industry.
Campus Life :
In SGVU students are not learning only about the course also they have trained the student on social aspects too. We have gone through so many Chef Competition and we have celebrated our annual fest. Also In Hotel Management I have taken participated in the World Record(Kind of Chef Competition). In SGVU Students we have a large unit of the library where we are having en number of books. We have techno friendly ambience in the classes. We have Xiaomi, Rytheme, Seeds, Wellness, Smile Community ETC.
Interview Experience :
I have only gone through with Personal Interview .That Interview session was conducted in manner that industry needs and they have asked me all the relevant question that normally required for this course .
