Remarks :

All in all it was a great college for me, everything starting from subjects to teachers to placements everything was good.

Entrance Preview :

CGPET, my state rank was 95, and it was the best college of my state, chhattisgarh. I also wanted to take Electorincs and communication and I got that branch.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was very structured curriculum. First two semester was common for all students irrespective of their branch, and after than it was related to my major which was mostly electronics and telecommunication. Overall it was a great mix of theoretical and practical subjects.

Internships Opportunities :

My college did not have paid internship, there were mostly vocational training related to our subject matter and branch. I did my training at BSNL.

Placement Experience :

Placement was fantastic, we had three tier system, companies were allocated to each tier based on their package offering. we had three tires of companies. By the time I graduated I had 3 job offers, and they were all multination corporations, so placement scene was really really good.

College Events :

We had two clubs, ROTRACT and JSID and both of the organizations conducted yearly technical and cultural festival. Apart from that we also had sports events organized by these two bodies. We also had an annual college event where colleges from other universities participated.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure was very feasible being a government college managed by central government. we had to pay fee yearly fee in advance and it was not costly as compared to any other private colleges so this is was good part, being a public college it used to get grants from the central government.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There were not many scholarship provided by our college but there were other private scholarship which was generic can be applied to for the students.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio was around 70 boys and 30% girls. Also there were people from all parts of the state, religion. It was pretty diverse crowd so I liked my college, being a public college that too one of the premier institute in the state, we used to very diverse crowd from all over the state.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilites were really good, we had a warden who was very helpful. Mess food was good, at time it can be blend but overall it was good. We used to get Sunday off from mess so we used to eat outside. But overall I would both hostel and mess food was good.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they are very helpful, we have a network in linked in and Facebook and we are all in touch and we help each other and contribute to upcoming students.

Exam Structure :

Exam stru. was similar to any other engineering college, each year two semester, followed my practical and viva, we also had mid semester exam to gauge the progress of students. Semester end exam was very good reflection of what has been taught in the class and what is relevant.

Admission :

I took CG pre engineering test exam and I had scored 95 rank state wide. So I was invited for counselling for the very first day only, and in the first round I had to select three branch as my preference. My preference was 1) Electronics 2) Mechanical and 3) electrical, and I got electronics.

Faculty :

Faculty was very intelligent and approachable. Each one had PHD in their field and was very helpful with all the doubts they knew their subject matter very well. Also they used to wait after the class to help us in all the matter of doubts be in practical or theoretical.

Placement Experience:

• Students get eligible placements from their fifth semester i.e their 3rd-year middle. • Many famous companies like Wipro Amazon Google cloud etc come to offer placements. • Over 80 companies come to offer employment for nearly 800 students in a year. The same situation can be seen electrical department. • The highest average package announced as per the company is above 10 lacs per annum and the profiles offered are to the talented bright students. • Nearly 65 % of the students are placed every year. • I would like to appear for Gate and go for a public sector job in my core subject i.e the Electricity department.

Placement Experience:

You will never get the full details and correct stats from any college about their campus placement. All you will know is from your seniors. And what I heard is that from now on good campus placement have started. Still, not more than 10% can get satisfied campus placements. But not to worry because nowadays we have opportunities to get placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements are fair. Several classes, our taken to crack the interview round and to make us industry-ready. Well, known companies like CTS, TCS, ITC Infosys, Amazon etc do conduct their place drives in this college. Students have to work hard to crack core companies as very few of them visit our college.

The whole management system is dull and doesn't make much effort to bring any change there is more of judging going on from their side instead of improvising and work for betterment.
