Remarks :

The Admission process is held online mode in sams Odisha website. Aspirants can apply for this course after qualifications of 10th or 12th. In this college total of 5 branches are available- Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, Civil, Metrology. The cutoff mark for mechanical and electrical branches is more than 70% in and for others more than 55%. Hostel facility is also available in this college with proper facility and rules.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exams are conducted in offline mode while questions are subjective. To give the exam 70% attendance is required. Exam modes are semester while the full mark is 750. I chose Mechanical branch because it's a royal branch and also proper infrastructure are available in this college for this course. Faculty students ratio is 1:15. Faculty qualifications are B Tech, M tech, and diploma.

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Jindal Steel and Tata steel are partners with our college to provide different internship programs like stainless steel welding, 1-year apprenticeship program facility free of cost. Stipend during internship is 1-2 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience :

From 5th semister students are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited like Tata steel, Jindal steel, hero motors, and many companies. The campus placement rate is 75% in this college. The highest package offered is 5 lakhs per annum and the average is 2.5 lakhs per annum. My plan after this course is preparation for the competitive exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship facilities are available like Odisha scholarship, national scholarship, scholarship for girls, handicapped, Sc & St background, poor background students. Hostel cost for the study is 3000 for admission and 2000 monthly canteen fee so total 25000-27000 yearly. The college cost of the study is less like only admission fee 6000 and exam fee 2000 per year so total yearly cost is around below 10000. Campus drives are coming from companies like Tata Steel, Jindal steel, hero motors, etc.

Campus Life :

Annual function is conducted every year and factory visit provision is also available. In the library, all books are available for study. Separate classrooms are available for different branches. Playgrounds are available and projects are conducted in every branch. The official website is also available for proper availability of information.

Hostel Facilities :

The Local area is named ragadi, and in their market, room rent is available. While the disadvantage is it's 12 km distance from Jajapur city. The hostel is a new and clean building. 4 students are accommodated per room. The meal is of the best quality at a cheaper price. The registration process in college/ hostel is simple through offline mode.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students will be eligible to seat in the campus and we have to score 70% minimum to seat in any campus placements. Ther are companies like bhusan steel, Tata motors and Honda visited our college. The highest package offered to me was 2.8 lakh per annum and average package offered to me was 2.1 lakh per annum There are 60% of students who got placements from our course.

It is one of the best engineering college in odisha.It is the 3rd best engineering college in Odisha. There is only one negative point about my college and that is,Here most of the senior officers are corrupted,they don't use money (provided by the government) for the welfare of the institution.
