Entrance Preview :

I do not wrote any entrance. Because I studied in Tamilnadu education board.I admitted in that via TN couselling.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, our college(Bharathidasan Institution of Technology, Anna university-AUBIT) provides internship to all the students. But I am first year student. So i do not know how much.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is government college of TN. The fees structure is very low than compared to other private colleges the ordinary fees is about 30 per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, scholarship and loans are available for students of BE to ME. Hostel scholarship for SC students National and state govt scholarship avail.

Exam Structure :

The course covers 4 years. Every year have two semester.for four years eight semesters. Each semester have three to four months .For each month one internal assessment was held others are model test, class test, lab practicals etc.

Admission :

I attended TNEA counselling. In which single window counselling held on the basis of Quota.I got a seat in this college on the basis of TNEA cutoff mark and ranks. After seat allotment we should went to that college with proper certificates and fee for admission and hostel.

Faculty :

The faculties are well trained and some of them got Doctorate degree in required fields. They are well good teacher. They are more experienced with more knowledge. They explains all in details with the picture and showing good examples and models.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
