S SYED IMTHIYAAS's Review On Bharathidasan Institute Of Technology, Anna University - [AUBIT], Tiruchirappalli

Remarks :

Kindly maintain the standard. provide good food and keep surrounding hygiene. our college club and cultural activities, sports Which enlarges the community and we feel proud in our club and it social activities. Our students are much interested into these activities than staying simple.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My opinion on course curriculum is bad because many students in college life just having fun and on the class time many bunk their classes, for attendance many students attend classes and they write exams even without preparing for the exams, just they prepare the night before exam date also teachers too don't put effort in taking lectures and we just studying only for passing and marks, only theory classes are more but practicals are less, which are needed in future life. kindly change the curriculum of the college studies too.

Placement Experience :

No, My college does not provide any interns, In placement wise my college is not so good also not bad because many unidentified and non popular companies comes to our campus and hire students with bonded agreemental type jobs.

College Events :

In the event wise, we the students of every department participate and conduct the cultural, technical and non Technical Symposium in Grand manner, nearly 1000 students from each dept attends it from many other colleges nearby cities and states.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I studied in government college so the fee structure is feasible to me. My total fee for my engineering degree course is nearly 2. 5 lakhs only for course+ For hostel and other expenses. But college asks amount at the time of exam and for sports, library and etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In scholarship wise they give two option one is state scholarship and other central scholarship, in central scholarship we get nearly (only for minorities) 10k per month. State scholarship is common to all the students any can apply and avail it but it too in community wise only Bc - 6000 Mbc - 8000 Sc - 20000

Campus Life :

Gender ratio in our campus is girls are in higher than boys in our CSE dept. Max we can say 2:4, labs are good but not in standards, for sports wise students only coaches and play and also our campus students are too good in sports as they won many zonal games. Ethnicity, race, sexual degradation - NIL. Also we have clubs which are more important in our campus than any other because our campus have NCC, NSS, ROTARACT, MAANAM CLUB, YRC, and some more. Which enlarges the community and we feel proud in our club and it social activities.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are sharing only but it's worst in all colleges maximum. because in one room we share nearly 8-10 students but in small size room. For hostel fees the expenditure soars high beside the college fee, It rates nearly three quarter four of the total fee in our course.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes our alumni are good in supporting and sponsoring our campus. They are still making a good bond together with the students and professors. I'm too a alumni and attend college activities like Rotaract and sports.

Admission :

I got my college through Counselling in Engineering process by TNEA admission and I not opt to select this computer science engineering, but somehow I got this course. My uncle is very helpful at the time of counselling, he guided me to select this college and now I completed this course in flying colors.

Faculty :

Teachers are qualified well for taking classes but they still need experience to take classes still interesting. Also they need to be in college for taking lectures for all the periods because they too bunk a lot than students. lol

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
