Entrance Preview :

I have given JEE-Mains, I scored 45 marks because I haven't took coaching. I opted for Mechanical Engineering because I'm too much passionate for Mechanics and Chitkara University is nearby to home and you get good exposure there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The best thing in Chitkara University is that you do not need books to study . Everything is available online. Books , fees deposit, attendence register, resources etc. We have the chalkpad access also. Chalkpad provides us the information about each and everything going in Chitkara University.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes our college provides internship . They provide us a platform to explore our potential in different ways and in different styles. They provide us the opportunity to think outside of a box.Campus Placements in our college is good. Students get placed in the companies very easily.

Placement Experience :

Our college Placements and job opportunities are very good. They give their students a varity of companies to get placed. Everytime 8 out of every 10 students get placed in high level companies. Hi-fi companies like capegemini, persistent system, sapient nitro, infosys etc used to visit our campus and students get minimum starting 4 lakhs package.

College Events :

Chitkara University is too much connected with celebrating festivals. Every day is a new day in our university. Latest thing happened in our college is that Chitkara University have Made a World record by making 1500 students eating samosa at the same time.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

See. What chitkara Charges gives you back in other way . Their fees structure is expensive but they are giving us back by paying us a platform where we get good exposure, high class studies, explore our hobbies and we can even work for our passion etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college provide the mifdle class poor students to get loaned their fees from Banks. Loan available for Bus , hostel and semester fees. As I'm geting my education on Loan from Bank. Scholarship is not given in our college whether how a much a students is intelligent or scored good marks.

Campus Life :

Chitkara's campus life is chill as every day new events are happening in our college so you do not get bored of life . There are lot of cultural societies in our college around 20-30 societies and clubs organising events.

Hostel Facilities :

I would like to give 3 out of 5 stars to our hostel facilities. Infrastructure is very awesome but not that much hygienic as it is nearby to farm lands. There used to happen lot of events for hostel students . Mess food also 3 out of 5 as it is not that much tasty but better that PG facilities.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

The best thing is there is no ragging by seniors in our college. They are very helpful and guide us very well. Alumni network is also very good. There are many alumni students are have became entrepreneurs today and they used to appreciate Chitkara University blessing with them.

Exam Structure :

We cant say exam structure is hectic . Chitkara student never feel apart from studies. They are always connected with studies. Chitkara University follows general exam structure as other universities follows. They have semester system consiting of 3 MSTs and 1 Final semester exam.

Admission :

I have filled a admission form for the admission in Chitkara University. And Then I got a call for Counselling from Chitakara Staff. Then I went for Counselling in Chitkara International School Chandigarh and paid the semester fees along with Infrastructure fees and got admitted there .

Faculty :

Faculties of our college are very nice and helping. They do not help you to study only. Even they help us that how to manage our schedule in our daily hectic life. They teach us in well mannered way of teaching. They do not hesitate us to explain a question many times but it should be a genuine question.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester students become eligible for the placement like internships and main placements start at fourth year. companies like Wipro, HCl , Zomato, swiggy, Google, etc many companies visit our college and many offer have been made to the students. In the last year the highest package was 86 lakhs offered and average package over all branches was 22 lakhs per annum.and the last year almost 76 Percent of the applied students have got placed and my plans after getting the degree is to do a good job in a very big mnc

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for the campus internships offered by companies, that provide placements after completion of the course. In the 7th semester students who have the skills, got placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, TCS Ninja, etc The highest package offered in our university is 13.50 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. About 80% of the students got placed last year in our university. My senior told me how he got placed in TCS private limited company and assured me that I will get placed too.

Almost everything you need to know before joining about Gulzar Group of Institutes

Placement Experience:

Here the placements are fine but it also depends on students too as you can start internship from 2nd year but there is attendance issue for that you need to contact to your respective HOD's. The placements start from I think the 6th sem I am not sure but maybe or 7th but many good companies come to campus but students can also apply off campus companies too. Some company's names are listed as I know:- Amazon,Paytm,Godrej, Tech Mahindra, HCl, Wipro, etc. I am not sure about the highest and lowest package but I think the Highest package is 4 to 5 lakh . The overall percentage of students getting placed is 80% to 85% according to me. My plan is too first get the internship till 4th to 5th sem and then will sit in placements or apply for off campus if didn't got satisfied with the companies that came after I will get the job and for few years will do the job until I get I want and then I will plan about something as I want to get.

Placement Experience:

See like in final year here everyone goes into placements. And it's not up to mark because here if your in CSE IT or ECE you get placed at3-3.5 lakh per annum .but opportunities have raised in recent years production engineering student got a placement of 15 lakhs per annum and this year Flipkart arrived and gave a placement of 13lakhs last year Samsung have a placement of 12 lakhs byjus gave 10 lakhs placement. if you are in core and want to get hired for tech companies then you need to take notes courses and learn to code. And almost 70-80% students get placed but if the placement is low then it's of no use if you're re in civil or mechanical engineering then you may find the gate results are fair enough for a college. Civil and mechanical are the best branches in the college andy plan is to join Indian army after Engineering.
