Remarks :

You should have qualified Jee main exam to get admission. The cut-off varies from 95 to 98 percentile according to your category. I belong to the OBC category, I was having 96 percentile I got Cs over here. Admissions are done through JoSAA counseling. I choose IIIT DHARWAD Over other IIIT becoz it has its own campus, it's situated exactly at center of Pune and Bangalore so easy to get placements too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty over here are well qualified and Ph.D. holders. All have well experienced and do their Ph.D. through eminent colleges. There is no issue regarding faculties. There are two major exams in a semester i.e mid-sem and end-sem. In between some quizzes are also conducted.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 330000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Institute has a dedicated placement and internship cell known as Carrer Guidance Cell. It helps in providing internship and placement chances. Most of the seniors have done their internships at good companies.

Placement Experience :

Statistics of placement are average and improving rapidly. As the institute has shifted it's own campus there will be growth in placements. Top recruiters are Samsung group, Bentely-Motors lim, Deloitte, Infosys,etc. According to last year statistics highest salary offered was 15 LPA and lowest was 5 LPA. The average was around 6-7 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For our batch(2020), the annual fee is 3,30,000, and it remains same throughout four years. Yes, it's somewhat costlier than IITs or NITs. Cause for this is it runs under Public-Private Partnership. Students have got scholarship on basis of their category and states.

Campus Life :

Institute has shifted to a new permanent campus, which is amazing. It's equipped with all the facilities. There are clubs like robotics, return 0, quantum computing. Inter IIIT sports events take place where teams are sent from the institute side.

Hostel Facilities :

In hostel rooms, roughly 3 to 4 students are accommodated in 1 room. You will get a cupboard to keep your things and a locker. The meal is quite good. Wi-FI is also available at the hostel. Costs for a hostel are 80k yearly, which is included in the fee itself at the time of admission.

placements during the current scenario are hard and they offer less perks highest goes to around for 20 lakhs for 2-3 students all others placed are around 3-7 lakhs mark students placed are around 50 percent there are companies like adobe and Capgemini comming to campus

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to get placements from their 6th to 7th semester as whatever basic is needed by them to a company is embedded into them. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and many other companies visit our college and make many offers. The highest package in my course was 47 L.P.A previous year and average is 7 to 8 L.P.A. Almost all students get placed in our branch almost every year. I just wanna do a start-up after completion of my course and getting my degree.
