This institute provides active industry department affiliation by finding common area in research project and consultancy service. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering followed by SRMJEE score is necessary for admisson. Any candidate qualified in IIT JEE main /SAT also can apply for the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This two years course is mainly a weekend program. It is a blend of academic courses, data science tools and techniques and hands - on project. At the end of the second year there is the Capstone project. The faculty is well experienced.

Placement Experience :

The recruiters visit SRMU rapidly for placement. Some of the top recruiting companies are - Amazon, Asian Paints, Canon, Tata, Earnest and Young. The highest CTC is INR 18 LPA and average is INR 12 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The total fee structure of this course is INR 4,50,000. The institute provides some scholarship for the students. Most of these are for UG students. Some of these Scholarships are - SRMAP President Scholarship, SRMAP Merit Scholarship etc.

Campus Life :

The University nurtures rich tradition of culture. The campus is equipped with medical facility, air-conditioned auditorium, hostel facility etc. There is also wifi zone, central library, Canteen , retail outlets etc.

Students starting placed from their last semester. Reputed companies gave an offer. Like tcs, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package will be 60k and minimum 25k. 98% got placed before completing the degree. 55% above is the minimum for placement if you want to be placed in a high package of salary Job.

SASTRA College Life- An Amazing Experience

Admission:

I got the Admission in this college based on 12th marks and Jee main. i got Jee main score of 130 and 12th marks of 95%. so based on this they will ready a common Merit list and publish the All India ranks. based on your AIR , you will be called for counseling. You have to go to the SASTRA campus, on your allotted counselling date and time and Book the Branch of your choice. This is the Admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is really good it's on par with Bits and Nit syllabus. It's well designed to both suit the students needs and also equip them well with the basic fundamental concepts which can further strengthen their core concepts knowledge . moreover , the syllabus is designed in such a way that it covers 85% of gate exam syllabus. so we can also appear for gate exam immediately after completing our course. The Exam structure is based on conceptual learning. one has to be well equipped with concepts in order to pass in the exams. We must not mug up at any point of time as SASTRA exams will test your concepts rather than ur memory capacity. It will have 3 Cia exams out of which the best 2 exam scores will be considered for internal assessment and then followed by final semester examination which consists of 100 marks out of which 50 will be considered for overall grading. This is the exam structure
