Remarks :

NICMAR is firstly a non profit organisation who specializes in advanced learning and courses like PGP, ACM, IFDM and PEP It is also recognized as ?ÛÏScientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO)?۝ by Dept. of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and also ranks as one of the top 20 schools for PGP coyurses and advanced learning. In order to study here, admissions are based on the NCAT entrance along with good academic performance and work experience if in order to make it to the final merit list. The method of applying is available online as well as offline, but the mode of payment has to be made online only. I was charged with Rs 2100.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The learning here is very advanced. There is no burden of books as such. The class builds upon the concepts and methodologies of management, engineering, architecture, law, information technology, social and behavioral sciences and combines theory with practical experience and research work as well. Our faculty comprised of teachers namely, Dr. Sanjay Bhoyar, who is the head of the department, followed by Dr. Amol Pawar and Dr. R. Sathishkumar. The class consisted of viva, practical work followed by assignments. We had semester based exams and internal marks were added in our external exam as well.

Placement Experience :

NICMAR has a very strong placement cell who looks after the placement for its graduating students. For the placements, the following criteria should have been met i.e. no back papers, a well maintained attendance of 75% and a good GDPA score as well. The average package starts from 5 lakhs p.a and the max offered is upto 25 lakhs p.a. Over 120 companies visit the campus for recruitment. The frequent companies that visit according to my professors were Ador Welding Ltd. HDFC, Hiland Group, Qatar Design Consortium,ITC and Richa India.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees are just as expensive as any good business schools, but it is totally worth it, looking at it overall. Mainly because it has a well equipped campus and provides with placements as well. I am not really sure about the fees hike, but we do have scholarships which are given to top 5 students based on the NICMAR entrance test. Scholarships are also given to students whose annual financial income is less than RS 6,00,000. Full waive off to partly scholarships are available. My total cost to study here was around Rs 10 lakhs. When it comes to on campus jobs, we do not have any so far.

Campus Life :

The campus has a lot to offer, with well equipped classrooms which includes projectors, WIFI with air conditioners. It also has a central library where all the books that are necessary is available. We also have three conference rooms which is mainly used for academic and seminar purposes including computer labs as well. Besides these NICMAR also has separate hostel for boys as well as girls and executive stays as well, alongside a nice dining place and football field, basketball courts, gym and other sporting activities for recreation during the college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive, covering a broad spectrum of topics that align with current industry trends and academic standards. One of the specific aspects that influenced my decision to choose this course was it's emphasis on practical application alongside threotical knowledge. The curriculum effectively bridges the gap between classroom learning and industry requirements, allowing students to develop critical thinking and problems solving skills essential for professional success. However, there are areas for improvement for instance, guest lecture from professional could enrich learning experience and provide insight into current practicee.Additionally while the course covers wide range of topics could benefit from deeper exploration.Regarding the frequency and timings of Exams ,they are generally well-structured, allowing adequate preparation time

It's a good college for bca across the nagpur city that I have experienced. The main thing in this college is it is very strict for students it doesn't allow the students to bunk lectures and go home in middle hours it's very seriously about that you need proper get pass for leaving in middle hours and the college takes it's lectures regularly. That's what I like about the college.thank you
