Remarks

I applied for five colleges 1.JNTUH (CSE) 2.OU (CSE) 3.JNTUHCEJ (CSE) 4.JNTUHCEM (CSE) 5.JNTUHCES (CSE) Through TS EAMCET Counselling conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Based on my marks in TSEAMCET I got an allotted seat in JNTUHCEM(CSE). I got admission in JNTUHCEM (CSE) based on my merit in TSEAMCET and Category reservation which is BC-B and even girls have some advantage in admission over boys. Students must have passed 10+2 with a 45% aggregate. Must have studied compulsory subjects like Physics & Mathematics. Along with either Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology, etc. Also, students who are Indians and not above the age of 21 can apply. Admissions to regular B.Tech students are made based on the rank secured in EAMCETconducted by TSCHE. On the day of joining you have to report to the college with all the required original documents and 3,4 sets of xerox and should submit them there. You also have to pay the admission fee and hostel fee.

Placement Experience

3

After 3-2, itself companies visit the college and you are eligible to sit in the campus placement drive There are only a few that visit our campus even though they offer less income like 2.6 LPA etc. Most of the students find the job in another way like the apply for TCS, CONGNIZENT, BYJUS etc. Out of the campus when I got into TCS off campus only. You should maintain a good cgpa of 7.5+. Name of some company visited: I don't remember those names. The highest package offered: 6lpa Average package: 3.6lpa Profiles offered: assistant system engineering Back end developer, Front end developer, Full-stack developer etc. Percentage of students getting placements : Off-campus 85%: My plan is simply that I have to get a good job in the core itself. And now I got a job in TCS, and my role is assistant system engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think it's very cheaper when compared to many other private colleges all over India. When I was studying in that college it was about 15000 per year as tuition fee and 27000 per year as hostel fee While joining the college I have paid 10000 rs for hostel and they returned back to me after my graduation. scholarship name: TS-EPASS which will cover all your college fee and hostel fee too. If you are eligible for it Eligibility: annual income of your father should be less than 2lac per annum in the urban area and less the 1.5lac per annum in the rural area. I paid the hostel fee for 1 year only. After that every year I paid the hostel fee by using my scholarship and I never paid the tuition fee. And there is an NSP scholarship too. For merit students and you can use it for personal reasons too. Our college provides good placement drives too. In 4-1 sem only you can get the placements with packages 3.6lac to 7 lac.

Campus Life

4

The fest name is 'enigma' it is also a tech fest conducted in March every year. There are lots of books in the library they are academic books personality development books and many others. Even UPSC exam books were also present in the library. There are individual libraries too for every branch in their particular department. Where we can find the core subject books. Amenities in the classroom: our friends. Sports will be conducted every year in which all branches will tackle. In all the sports and the winning branch or team will be given prizes on annul day. And will be selected for playing with other colleges. There will be a hackathon conducted every year as a tech fest. Social group run by students : Instagram account id : JNTUHCEM CAMPUS RADIO.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is too good, its name is manner girls hostel. They provided wifi for only 1 year thereafter they provided jio private net. It's a big spacious room in which 3 people are allowed. The room consists of 3 cots 2 fans 3 big spacious cupboards. And one table and 2 chairs. There will be a menu for each day. In the mornings there will be tiffins like idly, poori, dosa, bonda, Chapati, Vada, Upma, Afternoon meal: rice, Dal, Sambar, Curry, (chicken on Wednesday and Sunday). For veggies there will be sweets and some other curries), (egg on tuesday and Friday), Insted of egg they provide bujji for vegi. (remaining days they provide papads etc.) Night supper: Rice, Dal, Samber, Curd, Some leafy or vegetable Curries. Quality : not too good or not too bad. Not better then home food. The registration process for hostel 1st of all on the day joining its self you have to pay 10000rs for hostel accommodation which will be returned after graduation. I stayed college hostel.

In convener qouta so i have no chance to choose branch or college . If i have a chance to change college defintly i will .In this college first the mindset of the founder, director should change from school pattern to college pattern and they should focus on college implementation not in students personal issues .The exams will happen after every 4 months in between 2 months internals will be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
