Remarks :
I went to the college and visited the admission department over there. There were many members so we waited for a while. After that, we went to them and they explained about the college culture and the academic fee structure. They asked mine inter percentage. Though my inter percentage was 80 so I was eligible to get a seat in this college. They give seats based on the percentage of intermediate. They asked me which stream I want and I selected BSc, as I was interested in the software field.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our course was quite tough. The difficulty level was very high compare to other courses. It includes many core papers and also sec papers. But taking a BSc degree is very useful in our future. Regarding our faculty, they are very warm and friendly. They all completed their pg and other higher studies. They make us feel comfortable, they explain the difficulty in the subject by themselves. Sometimes they may not understand our situation, but mostly they are very warm and selfless in nature. They explain everything in a good and appropriate manner. we used to have mid-exams but now we are not having them. At that time those exams helped us to decrease the difficulty level for our sem end exams.
Placement Experience :
Regarding placements, I can say that we will get many placements in our college. The students from the final year are eligible for the placement drive. The students who have no backlogs and who have the minimum percentage of 60-65 are eligible for campus placements. The companies like W, tech Mahindra, Sutherlands, amazon, Genpact, TCS, Deloitte, etc will come to our campus. The highest package will be 3.5l per annum and the least will be 1.9l per annum. the students from the 5 and 6 semesters are eligible for placements. My plan after getting my degree is to place in a reputed company, provided by my campus placements, and to achieve success in my future.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I am a BSc student, my academic fee is 44k per year. And it is the only course whose fee structure is comparatively less in our college. Basically, we will not get any type of scholarship in our college. Because our college will not accept any government-related scholarships. Regarding financial support, it will be difficult to pursue a degree who is from a middle-class background. And regarding the campus placements, it is highly appreciable in this college.
Campus Life :
Our life at the campus is extremely great. We will have some fests like freshers party, farewell and in the middle of the year, we will even have some fests. And in the month of December, we will have a Christmas Eve feast for 3 days organized by the college. I was a member of scizone club. We even have a sports room and gym. Most of the students use to participate in cricket and some of them in basketball. We even have our Instagram page named villa Marie college, scizone club, and villa press where u can find about our college.
