Remarks :
I applied for MSc computer science in Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra, central university of Rajasthan, central university of Kerala and Delhi university. I also applied at the Central University of Haryana for MCA. MSc at Kurukshetra University was self-funded and admission was based on the merit of Graduation marks. I got selected there but I didn't take admission because their specialization was software engineering and I was more interested in Artificial intelligence. I appeared for CUCET for which the basic eligibility criteria were those general category candidates should have at least 55% marks in graduation and for reserved categories 50% marks in graduation. CUCET exam for MSc CS consists of 25% questions from general reasoning, English language, GK etc and 75% questions from the syllabus provided for CUCET MSc CS. I got selected for all CURAJ, CUH, CU Kerala. on counselling day I visit CURAJ and based on rank in CUCET I got an offer letter and submitted docs. I didn't avail any quota for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Artificial intelligence is an emerging field that is all about making machines intelligent and it's most demanding in the industry. It's really fascinating to me, So I opted for MSc CS (Artificial intelligence) 8 faculty members are very dedicating and the maximum number of students in MSc CS is 25. All faculty members are highly qualified, All of them have their PhDs and some of them have postdoctoral also. what I love most about CURAJ is the teaching methodology there, All professors use every possible way to make you understand subject concepts clearly which involves using ppts, animations, deriving concepts and results in detail on the whiteboard, by conducting problem solving sessions for each concept and most importantly discussion of each topic with the class where students are open to sharing new ideas and concepts related to the topic. There all departments always conduct exam timely and exams are not difficult to pass if you study properly because it's all about checking your concepts.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies provide internship opportunity to students of CURAJ MSc Computer science, for example, HCl technologies, TCS it offers internships in machine learning,data analytics and data science, Exposys Data it offers internships in Artificial intelligence and data science. Lab, BoltIot offers Summer Internships and training in IoT and machine learning, web development with a 20k per month stipend and 80% off on training.
Placement Experience :
University placement cell provides time to time information of placements and internships via email. Many companies like TCS, HCL, Axis Bank-Manipal school of Fintech, Cognizant etc visit for campus placements. I want to do PhD in Artificial intelligence after getting my master's degree in computer science.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Semester fees consist of charges like library fees, medical charges, internet charges, lab fees, tuition fees etc and semester fees are different for all 4 semesters of MSc computer science. Fees details for students of session 2020-21 are the following Semester 1-:9440, Semester 2-:3900 Semester 3-: 5825.Semester 4-: 4305. Campus Life :
Life at the CURAJ campus is very peaceful and cheerful. You can see unity in diversity here because students come from different parts of the country with different beliefs but they live together, eat together and celebrate every festival together, So in short, you can see a mini India here. Many cultural fests are celebrated here throughout the year and the university celebrates the annual fest on the 3rd march on the occasion of CURAJ FOUNDATION DAY. Many workshops are conducted by different departments throughout the year. University organizes sports activities for both faculties and students.it has grounds for outdoor games, indoor game facilities and a gym. The central library has the availability of books, e-books, e-journals, publications and access to many more online resources like IEEE explore, Science directs etc. Classrooms have facilities like sensor based light system, projector screens, whiteboards and a proper sound system. Students run many social group's one of them is WORK FOR UNITY GROUP.
Hostel Facilities :
There are a total of 7 hostels on the CURAJ campus which includes 3 girls hostels,3 boys hostels and 1 for staff members. Once you got the admission offer letter from your respective department you can download and fill hostel accommodation form. You have to submit this form to the Dean student welfare's office with attached anti ragging affidavit, medical fitness certificate, copy of fees receipt of Semester fees paid for the course and 2 passport size photos. The hostel committee will allocate you the room with very affordable prices around INR 3500 per Semester for room and INR 15000 per Semester for Mess. .Room will have one study table, chair, bed, WiFi facility, LAN cable etc for each student.CURAJ hostel's mess provides high quality and tasty food which includes North Indian to South Indian veg foods.
