Remarks :

I had applied in the colleges according to their priority in rankings and finally, I got IIT ISM DHANBAD being allowed to me. Yes, I had an OBC quota. The minimum requirement for admission in this program is that one must have cleared the IIT JEE exam and their rank must be in the approximate range of the given courses in the college. The admission process was smooth. Being online everything was done from home and went smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have a keen interest in the technological field. So I optes for the computer science branch in this institute. Faculty : student ratio is approx 1: 9. This is enough to clear our doubts and solve any problem we face during the academic calendar. The teachers here are highly qualified. 80% teachers having PHD degree makes a good teaching environment and the teaching methods are also good. Credits to the well equipped labs and workshops rooms. The exams were conducted on time and the difficuly level to pass them was not too high. It is a bit tough but the overall ciriculum and teaching make it easy to pass these exams.

Class Size : 130Course Fees : INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The company under which I worked was the topper. There I was a subject expert matter. We along with my many peers had to solve questions of the respective subjects selected. And had to submit them. After they reviewed our answers they posted them on their website and then we got our payouts. It was 7rs/ques accepted.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

On-campus, I got a very good chance to work with the Topper website as a subject expert matter. I worked approximately 1 month with them and got a stipend of 500rs. Also, the institute provides us fee waivers based on our family income that reduces our fees by 66%.

Campus Life :

There are many clubs in the college that are run by senior students and helped by the newcomers in the college. The college provides various opportunities for students to start their own websites. The corona period saw a number of websites that helped people arranging oxygen and hospital beds. Thus the students helped the community through their online efforts.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms are a bit small. But they are well equipped with the basic amenities. Such as a table and chair and a drawer to store the books and other academic materials. The meal quality is not too good but it's manageable. The menu is quite good and Sundays are a treat to the students. The registration process is smooth. Hosels are allocated beforehand and reaching there is not a great difficulty.

Good but not up to the level that college shows.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies visited like accenture - 300000, cognizant- 250000, wipro- 300000, tcs- 200000 Accenture - 300000 per annum. 20 % of students getting placements in the class size of 120. My palns after getting a degree is to become a web developer, frontend.

Placement Experience:

This year's placement was almost 95%, which is quite good. The top recruiters are JSW, Vedanta, Tata Motors and many more. Most students are places in JSW with a 9.6 LPA. The highest package this year was something around 14 LPA. And average was almost 9.6 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.
