Remarks :
I applied for other top colleges but their cut-offs were high. The cut-off here was 124 in the MH CET exam for this branch. The admission process was simple but a little lengthy, since this was pre-covid, we had to be on campus from morning to evening
Course Curriculum Overview :
I only passed this cutoff. The subjects overall are just fine and sometimes they may get boring. Some faculty are very educated and experienced while some faculty is not upto the mark. The exam schedule is a bit tedious and the papers are set difficult sometimes.
Internships Opportunities :
For internships, companies like Walmart, Goldman Sachs, etc visit the campus. The stipend varies from 0 to even 1.15 lakhs per month. The students who are unable to get internships are assigned projects and mentors through the college, itself.
Placement Experience :
Students are allowed to sit for placements from sem 7. There are a few strict rules which could be avoided.A lot of companies visit the campus, including Walmart, Goldman Sachs, Citi, DE Shaw, Deutsche Bank, Wipro, etc. The highest package offered is around 30 lpa and the lowest is around 2.5 - 3 lpa. Almost 100% of students get placed. I'm planning on getting a good placement offer as well.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees are extremely high and we didnt get any concession even during the covid times. The college provides some scholarships but they are mostly only for students whose family's annual income is less than 3 lakhs. The placement process is overall good except a fee strict rules. I'm in my third year and haven't gotten a job yet
Campus Life :
The annual fest is called Gandhaar, it is fun but not very interesting. The tech fest lasts for about a week and is usually good. The library here is really good, there are a lot of books available, both academic and literature. There are also reading zones in the building. Sports include basketball, cricket, volleyball, football. There are coding, mathematics, dsc, books, and other clubs
