Entrance Preview :

I appeared for Odisha JEE-2006 and got a rank of 283. I opted this college because of its good academic and placement records. Also this college is in the capital of Odisha.

Placement Experience :

The placement percentage of my college is more than 85% with an average package of 4.5 lakh per anum. Also a good number of core companies visit the campus every year.

College Events :

College Annual function- Xtasy, Tech Fest- Perception and freshers party, farewell part etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As it is a government college, fee structure is very cheap as compared to other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

CET merit scholarship is provided for the top 20% students of every branch.

Campus Life :

There are literary club, sports club, robotics club, NSS club organizing various events throughout the year.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network is quite strong and well connected. They are always helpful. In fact the credit for the good placement of my college goes to the alumni association of the college.

Exam Structure :

Two semester annually with 3 internals in each semester. You will be quite engaged with exams and labs if you really take your studies seriously.

NIT Rourkela: The Blazing Ground for Opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last year of their completion of the course, although most of us got the PPO (Pre Placement Offer) before the campus placement at the end of our internships. This year (2022) 325 companies visited for campus placements and a total of 1,274 offers were made. The highest CTC offered was up to 46 lakhs rupees and the average CTC offered is 11.2 lakhs rupees for the software, core and analytics companies combined. Some of the companies which offered the handsome packages are Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Oracle. Overall approx 93 per cent of students are placed during this year's campus placements.
