Remarks :
1.) I had applied for only NMIMS through NMAT 2.) NMIMS does not provide any quota 3.) The minimum age to apply to the college is by having a Bachelors's degree. NMIMS conducts NMAT and in the year 2020, the cut-off was 213. 4.) There was no counseling day. I was emailed the day of the admission process and GD and an interview were conducted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
1.) I MBA because it was the most logical step to attain a mix of practical and theoretical knowledge of the corporate world after BMS. 2.) We have around 50 faculties for about 600 students. 3.) 75% of the faculties hold a Ph.D. and every teacher for every subject follows the case study method of teaching. Corporate officials are also called for guest lectures. 4.) We have three trimesters each year for two years, i.e. one trimester every three months.
Internships Opportunities :
Particularly in marketing we get, Market Research, competitor analysis, growth hacking, SWOT analysis, Etc roles. We also have a compulsory two-month NGO placement provided by the college before the actual summer internship.
Placement Experience :
We have our summer internship placement in the first year and final placements in the second year. We have 100% placement at NMIMS Mumbai. All the big MNCs and FMCGs visit NMIMS. The avg CTC is 18 LPA The placement reports are available everywhere.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is 10,42,000 for the first year and the same for the second year which is to be paid in full. They have tie-ups with different banks which provide loans. There are scholarships for the top 10% of the scorers of NMAT to avail.
Campus Life :
1.) Being an online college also, we've attended a lot of fests. 2.) Our annual fest is named Parichay where different committees organize their events and the students take part. 3.) The annual year is full of events including cultural sectional wars, sports wars, case study competitions,etc 4.) We have more than 20 clubs and committees including clubs of dancing, singing, acting, debating, etc and committees of finance, marketing, ops, HR, etc.
Interview Experience :
1.) Firstly, we had to give NMAT which could be attempted thrice and the best score was considered. The entrance test was a 360 marks test with three sections: Verbal, Quants, and LR. The passing mark to receive a call for GD and PI was 207. 2.) Secondly, we faced a GD but it was a case discussion. We were provided by the cases on the spot 3.) Our last round of the process was the interview round where questions based on our submitted SOP were asked.
