Remarks :

I registered for WBJEE counselling, and I chose RCCIIT college, I got this college in the first round of counselling, I was eligible for all basic criteria minimum age 17 and 10+2 with science stream. Then all admission process was online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Good college for information technology. The faculty and student ratio is quite good. All faculty have high qualifications and the teaching method is also modern and beneficial. College often takes exams usually monthly sometimes twice a month.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

College often provides internship details and information. many students have gone for a good project. And enhance their skill. Many students got a chance to work as interns in big companies. Though it's not a very large number it's rapidly increasing.

Placement Experience :

The college has a very good number of campus placements. TCS, Infosys, PWC, cognizant types of companies visit for campus placement. Highest package 8 lakhs with average 5 lakhs per annum. The best part is college conducts a special class to crack the coding interview.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Cost is approx 85000 to 90000 per year. Almost every scholarship comes under West Bengal for technical course approval. And college itself inform interesting students about the scholarship. And every eligible student gets verified for scholarship on institutional level.

Campus Life :

Almost all types of activity that normal college conduct, it conducts. Very impressive library. Online and offline both sports they conduct. The college has quite a number of clubs for coding and extracurricular activities.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
