I choose information Technology because I want to go my career in IT service. Most of the faculties are from Jadavpur University and done phds.The B.Tech course has total eight semester with 6 month duration.
Likes
- I liked the faculty members. Professors are helpful and friendly.
- I like the labs and the classrooms, as it is a bit better than some of the other colleges.
Dislikes
- We have a lift where students are not allowed.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this my course B. Tech IT as I wanted to become a software developer after my 4 years time of the college. The faculty:student ratio is near to 1 faculty member for every 5 students. All the faculty members have a doctorate. The teaching methods are quite good. Internal exams took place about once every two months while the practical exams take place every 3 months, and the marking system is quite good

I chose IT as my department because i love software engineering and my college has also offered it. The faculty to student ratio is approximately 20:1 All the faculty members are well qualified in their respective fields The semester exams are held on every 6 months and they are pretty difficult

- The college is under MAKAUT affiliation.
- Attendance pressure is very high from this year.

Faculty members are well-equipped, trained and capable to teach the entire curriculum and beyond it but you have to study own. Some of the teachers are experienced and are very good in their skills, while most don't care how the class should be taken and be carried on.

I have choosen this course cause it has a better opportunity in the near future, moreover the faculties were really helpful and and well learnt to go up with problems , they teaches in a intresting way which make studies more easier one has to seat for four in house exams and two semester exam in a year which is not really hard to pass,

The faculties here are absolutely amazing. Highly educated and very helpful. The semester exams are bit tough but one can easily score well just by following classes and PYQs. There are 4 term exams before every semester as devised by University.
