Remarks :
I had the plan of doing a diploma rather intermediate. So, Nawab Shah was a better option for me compared to other colleges. This college was good at teaching, infrastructure and many more. It's bad at distance from my place I can say. The admission process was simple. Just needed to visit college and submit the documents. Reason for preferring this college to others is that it's a minority college. I surfed the web regarding it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was well structured. The faculty was brilliant. I believed that I can make my career in civil engineering, that's why chosen it. The faculty-student ratio was good. Students interact with faculties and vice versa was possible. The faculties were highly qualified and experienced enough. The way they taught was understandable. Term exams use to occur twice in a year. It's moderate to pass in them.
Placement Experience :
From starting of the 3rd yr, we made eligible to sit in the interviews. Companies do visited our campus for placements. Companies like DRDL, Ford Motors, Police Transport Organisation, Bosch India, South Central Railway Diesel Loco Sheds visits our campus. Annually, about 200 candidates get placed .about 60% of students get placed each year. After my degree, i chose to complete my engineering and then I will look forward to a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure was okay. Neither too high nor low. Since last year, we can see some hike in the fee structure or say the cost to study. Scholarship opportunities are also there for deserving candidates. Financial assistance is allowed. I have finished my diploma and currently pursuing engineering, so I haven't applied for a job.
Campus Life :
The life at Nawab Shah is cool. We do have some events but more likely we had some workshops and hands-on experience events in the month of saying September or November. The library was good. Availability of books was there. Classrooms were maintained equally likely. We do have grounds for sports purpose.
