Remarks :

It was a well known college in our area with all facilities and best faculties. It was something that I got through allotment. Our college has library, computer labs, bus and hostel facilities. It also has a good infrastructure with the best view from the top of the hill. It even has a peaceful surrounding. It is not in the city so provides a peaceful surrounding .There are various clubs to support students to enhance their learning experience. With all sorts of programs and studies it is one of the best college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as I had great interest in coding .There are exams after every 2 modules. All teachers are M.tech or PhD holder who have an impressive skills . They are very friendly and help every time. College provides remedial classes for weak students. Even it is open for all as a revision class. I chose this because CS is my favorite subject right from childhood. And I'm thankful that I chose this course and this college .As I get every help from teachers to improve my skills and knowledge.

Course Fees : INR 40500 per year

Placement Experience :

There are many companies that come to our college like wipro , tcs, etc. Many of them mainly go for higher studies and some looks jobs abroad. Almost 50% of the students got placed last year .I'm also planning to get a job after the course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For each year the annual fee for merit students is 40500 , for ST/SC/OBC it is 5500 , for management students it is 60000 and for NRI seat it is 1 lakh. There are several scholarships provided in this college. Some of them are Egrants and MOMA. Students whose annual income is below 2 lakh get Egrants if they joined through merit seat. The scholarship I received was maulana Azad scholarship for minorities

Campus Life :

There was AI fest, tech fest, college day, union day , sports day and many more. There are plenty of clubs in our college which helps students to improve their skills . There is NSS for social works, IEDC to help students for startups and even there is a placement assistance cell.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
