Remarks :
Good aspects:- Knowledgeable staff; Location of college; Behaviour of faculties; Low fees; Most of the pharma equipment, laboratory materials and chemicals are in good condition. Bad aspects:- Placement is not up to the mark; Toilet maintenance was also not up to the mark. Admission takes place based on the rank that you get in their entrance exam. They do not take fees through Demand Drafts. I choose this because I had heard that their quality of teaching is good, and it was right. The link to the college website is given below:- pcp.bharatividyapeeth.edu
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as it involves mainly Chemistry and Biology. Most of the faculties are PhD and some do their PhD while teaching. Teaching takes place through Blackboard, Laboratory practicals and Presentations. Most of the papers involve a lot of writing in exams. Exam pattern is semester wise and in one semester only one internal exam happens. The exams are not very hard to pass but one or two papers per semester can be hard but not impossible.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements take place the last semester. Most of the students opt for higher education, which can be MPharm, MBA, MS, either national or international. Companies that visited - Sun Pharma, Abbott, Glenmark, few Startups.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost to study is very good. In my case, it was 17500 per year excluding semester exam fees (around 2000 per semester) and other lab-related expenses (around 1000 per semester). I got a campus placement in an international company in the sales department.
Campus Life :
Annual fest does take place and also Inter college and Intra college sports events. All the recommended books are there in the library. Classroom amenities are not up to the mark, only presenters and chair and desk are present. NSS activity is conducted. Some other social activity also takes place like tree plantation campaign, road safety campaign etc.
