Remarks :
The admission process is very easy. First of all, all students have to do the JEXPO exam. Then Direct applied to Jis School Of Polytechnic for Admission. Students who did not give their Jexpo exam should come for Direct Admission. Jis School of Polytechnic is provided with a TFT Quota for admission. First I want to take admission to Ranaghat Government polytechnic but then I realise that which is best, then admitted to JISSP.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I Choose Civil Engineering. Because Civil engineering is One of the best course and Our Jis school of polytechnic is very much good in Civil engineering department. Also, all other department is good like ME, CST, ETCE, EE. Teacher student ratio is 50:700. Our teacher's teaching method is advanced and New. No one has any doubt in the last of the class if anyone any doubt then teachers should try their best to clear his doubt. The exam system is WBSCTE wise 6 months one semester 2 internals lab exams. And teachers are honestly taking examinations.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college students do their Project and participate in many places and also win many prizes. one last time college participates in a National wise technical fest with the Civil engineering department and win first prize for making a Water treatment plant. Many companies like Internshala help students with internship and gives them a monthly stipend.
Placement Experience :
Our College placement system is fine. From the 5th semester, students can apply for their placement. Every year a minimum of 89% of students are getting their job from here. The package is offered between 12k to 15k. Per month. Many big companies like L&T, Gammon, ITC etc. Is come and give the job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total Three Years Course Fees Is 99000(Counselling students) and 136000 for Direct admission students. And our College produced Yearly schooler ship and Stipend for All Students. And Placements are Good. From 5th Sem, College is arranging Placement program for 3rd year students to Best Companies like L&T, Gammon, ITC etc.
Campus Life :
The campus is very good. The college arranges many programmes like fest for freshers at the month of august then tech fest state wise and National wise composition in December. And also arrange many educational and technical seminars for students monthly. In the College library, all kind of book is available which best for Polytechnic. Extracurricular activities like drawing, painting, annual Sports in January are arranged by the College. Also, college does NGO type work for children in nearly spotted "Anath Ashram".
Hostel Facilities :
The college has a very big Hostel. This is cleaned and well disciplined. Rent is low but facilities are good. Wifi is available for 24 hours. The hostel playground is big, there arranged many sports like cricket, football.
Interview Experience :
The college takes admission from the ZEXPO exam. 1st you have to do your exam and Take minimum ranks. Then counselling and Chance to take admission our college. The admission process is very easy. No extra interview do after the ZEXPO exam
