Remarks :

Heritage provides one of the best campus in kolkata. The football, cricket, tennis, basket ball etc grounds are perhaps one of the best. Lab facilities are good. If you are looking to get a decent job in an IT company, Heritage is perhaps one of the best university. Professors are very much welcoming and will assist you to get a decent job and will teach with all their might. I got admitted in the month of July, 2016. Our class started from August 1, 2016.The library (present underground) provides lot of books in varities of categories. If you have a taste other than technical stuffs, like in literature, you can visit the library which remains active from 10 am top 7 pm.Reason for choosing heritage over other university is that it provides a perfect balance between lab, interactive discussion, studies and with extra curricular activities. You will definitely get a job in the final year or before if you work hard and do justice to your course from campus. I also got one from Merchant Navy. But due to some personal reasons, I had to leave it You can always visit the site (www.heritageit.edu)

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course offered by Heritage covers everything. Although I feel if research types of questions are being given to students, they will enjoy learning the subject. The faculties are good. Some of them could be better. They will give their full effort and more often than not they would finish of the syllabus before date. We used to have 2 internals before appearing for semester examination. The faculty to student ratio was around 1:4The exam difficulty used to vary with subjects. But if one prepare notes according to teaching of a faculty he/she is bound to get good marks.

Class Size : 74Course Fees : INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year onwards. In my time, our higest package offered was around 16 L.P.A and the lowest one was 1.2 L.P.AThe average package was around 3.1 L.P.aThe average students who got placed was around 74%

College Events :

Heritage provides many clubs, Rotaract club, music club etc. Social life is amazing over here. Every one is friendly, the ambiance is flawless. If you want to play soccer or cricket or basketball. you can always visit the field and start playing. There are other clubs as well like the debate club, acting club etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The opportunity of scholarship was null during my time (2016-2020)Financial assistance is provided to those whose parent dies or one who suffers injury (based on category which is provided by the college itself) In campus, if you have a good cgpa, you will definitely get a job.Majority companies are from IT and sales. The core companies come but comes later.

Admission :

I got admitted to Heritage due to West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination rank. The West Bengal joint entrance exam took place in the month of May, 2016.I secured a decent rank and I got admitted in second round of counselling.I didnot face any interview round.

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:
