Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is really interesting. All the subjects are very much required for an agri student to gain knowledge on all aspects of agriculture.

Internships Opportunities :

During final year under graduation course, have a village extension programme wherein we have to stay in a village for a month. During this period, we have to study how they are growing various crops and calculate the cost of production as well as profit obtained by them at the end.

Placement Experience :

Job opportunity is very good as they are fit in al fields of work. The students graduating from the college have made a mark both at national and International levels. Many of them have secured admissions in reputed International universities / institutes.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible. as it is controlled by the government as well as ICAR, fee structure is under the control of the government. Since no private agencies run agri colleges, there is no question of donations and exorbitant fees! Also now a days seats are filled through CET exams. Hence transparency is maintained.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Those who secure out of out marks will be awarded merit scholarships. Also during convocation, they will e given with gold medals as per sponsorships along with cash award and certificates.

Campus Life :

Campus life is homely. We lived with our seniors together with harmony. They have helping nature and treat each other as their own brothers and sisters. It is a co-ed system wherein both boys and girls will be there. Separate hostels are there for both. Hostel day will be celebrated every year to commemorate harmony.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel activities like food and mess bill is by dividing system, and students will be running the mess. warden and chief warden will be there from university side who will guide and control the admissions. Hostel inmates are having facilities like TV, laundry service, play ground, gymnacium, indoor & outdoor games etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni association is existing and is functioning very well with retired and seniors as office bearers. They also conduct national workshops every year in the campus which is an opportunity for all to meet personally and exchange new ideas.

Exam Structure :

When we were studying we had trimester system, but now they have made in semester system. Frequently exams are conducted and it helps in assessing the knowledge gained by the students. Several exams are conducted part by part and hence syllabus for the exam will be sufficient and convenient to prepare.

Faculty :

The faculty are very much experienced and having lot of knowledge with practical experience. Also, the faculty of the College includes meritorious and qualified team of teachers in different subject matter areas of agriculture and allied sciences. Many of them have been the recipients of national and International coveted awards for their outstanding achievements.
