Course Curriculum Overview :
Its an wonderful experience at UAS Dharwad, I learnt a lot from the course as well as from the University. I imported very good knowledge about Agriculture and especially about insects and pests management courses, which are really helpful for me. They are organizing placements also in the campus.
Placement Experience :
UASD is organizing placements for the Degrre as well as Master degree holders from different verticals like Agri related private companies, Nationalized banks and private banks and hiring for their own for researches, teaching etc.
College Events :
Youth festival organizing for different colleges comes under the University. Its an big mega event for all the students and it will be run for three days. The winners are move for the inter University Youth festival. Also organizing freshers day for new comers and farewel function for the final year students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Its highly competitive and Govt will decide the fee. This is the only professional course having less fee. Everything is transparency there is no hide and sick fee, everything they are clearly break down. Less fee with more knowledge course. Student will get seat on merit there is no payment seat.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Many scholarships will be there as per the Govt procedures and policies. Fee discounts will also be there for back word communities
Campus Life :
Male to female ratio about 2:1, its an field oriented course so girls ratio is lesser than boys. There having good exposure for extracurricular activities like sports, youth festivals, library, good computer facility, National and International seminars etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, Rooms are two sharing average monthly charge will be about 3500/month. Two cots in a room but wash rooms are common. Have TV room, playing area. Having good food , morning breakfast, afternoon lunch, evening snacks and night lunch.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes have good Alumni, having good contact with all the old and new students of the university. Occasionally organizing Alumni function.
Admission :
Farmers are back bone of India, to help the farmers and strengthen the farming community I opted for this course. For Graduation PUC marks is the base and for Post graduation Entrance exam and graduation marks are the base. I got 3rd Rank in Post Graduation entrance at UAS Dharwad and completed the Degree
Faculty :
In M.Sc(Agri) we are having about 25 lecturers, about 35 to 50 age group and almost they are Doctors. All are good qualified knowledgeable and they had very good field knowledge lecturers. So we got good knowledge about agriculture, to help the farmers.
