Entrance Preview :

Exam - UPTU entrance exam AIR - 405 I choose this college because it has a good infrastructure and experienced faculties. Moreover, it caters a large number of corporates for training & placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was good. It could have been better if more focus was given on project works. Students must be exposed to more live projects for their training time to time, which would inculcate more practical knowledge and will make them adaptable to practical situations.

Internships Opportunities :

College did not provided any internship at all. Students have to search on their own for the same during their final year.

Placement Experience :

The placements from the college were good. They provide excellent placement opportunities for the students of B.Tech Stream. However, the placement for MBA students were bit compromised as there were a limited no. of companies visiting the campus for placement of MBA students.

College Events :

In our college, technical fests were organised from time to time for the B.Tech stream students. The focus of the fests was skill development. There was a cultural event organised every year in the name of fresher party as well as farewell, which also serves as platform for interaction for juniors and seniors.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship or loan facility was not offered directly from college. However, one can avail the facilities of loan and scholarships announced by the government bodies time to time.

Exam Structure :

There was semester system and exams were held twice in a year. In addition to semester exams the internal assesment these were also there before each semester exam.

Faculty :

All the faculties were having excellent knowledge of their domain. Moreover, the faculties were also having industry experience, thus they were always helpful to us while we seek any help from them regarding the practical aspect of any domain.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester of the course, students become eligible for final placements. ISAB is maintaining 100% final and summer internship placements since its inception and we are looking forward to maintaining the record. The placement cell is very active and supports students in their campus placement ventures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course of agribusiness because like after BSc in agriculture you can go for MSc in agriculture or MBA in agribusiness. I don't want to prepare for Ph.D. in the government sector so there is a better scope of an MBA in the private sector rather than an MSc in agriculture. Another reason for doing MBA is placement. The placement ratio of MBA students is better than m.sc students and salaries are also good. Another reason is in the private sector and MBA degree holders will get better promotions than average MSc degree holders. On my campus, there are 46 students in MBA agribusiness and 7 to 80% of them will surely get a minimum package of 350000 and a maximum package of 8 lacs. The guest faculty of MBA agribusiness is quite good. There are some teachers who are not as good as others but there is a 100% guarantee of course completion. Semester exams are not quite easy or too difficult if you will focus a little bit on your studies you will easily get pass. Semester exams are delayed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The trimester exam was there and it is pretty difficult to pass and have very good projects to work on plus the faculty is very good for finance. I am fortunate to be here. All the faculty is doctorate who are teaching plus have a very wide range of practical experience and links at big companies. The faculty is approachable. The college is very regular in respect of course and exam schedule. The course provides in-depth knowledge and exposure to students to real-life problems.

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for internships in any semester but for jobs, they are eligible by their end year only. Companies like Wipro, Paytm, Byjus, HSBC bank, Amazon visits the campus in the management department and almost 65 percent of the students get internship easily based on their skills. And for jobs, the highest package in management was 12 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum.
