Remarks :

placements can get even better as compared to superior academics,there can be more extracurricular activities,clubs and campus shoul be extended to admit more students here. clear placement detail should be given to public.

Course Curriculum Overview :

this is a 4 year 8 semester b.tech couse in instrumentation engineering,the syllabus is according to modern industrial needs and there will be a mid semester and final semester exam jin each semester, theory and practical papers are evaluated separately.

Placement Experience :

placements are good,by number chemical engineering gets the highest placement,I heard internship is provided at third year but details are not clear and there is no data in university website.One can ask passed out students if he/she wants proper details about it.

College Events :

At the beginning for first years there will be Freshers,for me it was held for 2 days and it was really good,then there will be many tech festivals, sports meets etc.There are not so many festivals like other private colleges in kolkata, education is the first priority here.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

the fees are second cheapest in west bengal for engineering,the fees are INR 3642 for each semester for every engineering stream,even other government colleges have at least two times fees than here and private are basically out of reach for any poor and lower middle class family.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

there are scholarships but they are not that high,you can get loan through banks but fees and other expenses are very very low,if you get scholarships from west Bengal and indian government than basically you will get engineering for free(college-hostel and other fees included)

Campus Life :

there are not so many extracurricular activities,there are tech festivals, sports meets, technical seminars.The labs are really good,all computers have good hardware and good internet connection to access any data.

Alumni/Alumna :

It is one of the oldest institution in India so alumni network is huge,one three HODs of electronics in IIT Kharagpur,IIEST and jadavpur university were from university of Calcutta.Alumnies are well placed in top mncs all over the world.

Admission :

I got admission through my rank in West Bengal joint entrance examination,one will need good rank to get into demanding engineering courses here,then there will be online counselling but the final admission process will be held physically at the university campus.

Faculty :

the faculties are very good and most of the processors have Ph.D,also other educational staffs are good.Classes are held regularly.practicals are regular and you can even interact with professors on phone or email.

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

This college is affiliated by MAKAUT and it is one of the best Universities, so I was looking for a college with a MAKAUT degree so I chose Ilead as my College and overall it has a very goor Campus, I didnâ??t see any good Campus as Ilead.

Remarks:

College was good in terms of studies and many more. But now it fails in giving placement. Most of the students are still unemployed. Only 30% of the students are placed from college. Others have to find there own jobs.
